I saw one of ur comment saying u guys paddled from 12pm to 5pm. Means u launched from Sembawang Beach at 12pm and ventured all the 5 sites at Sg Simpang then returned back to Sembawang Beach at 5pm? Total will need arnd 5hrs including resting?
Hi @alleycat great 👍 video. Do you need a license for SUP in Singapore? For example in the sungei simpang paddle, can I bring my own paddle board and start paddle? Thanks 🙏
Cool video! Didnt think stand boarding is so cool! What would u do if theres a crocodile after you? If the board flip over, then all ur equipments how?
Thanks for watching 🤝 i flipped over my board before, nothing happened to my equipments thanks to the bungee cords, everything was tied up firmly. All i needed to do was to flip the board back and I was good to paddle again! Well, if we meet any croc, our chance of survival is pretty slim... so we need to pray hard before we hit water, hoping that we don't appear in the news headline for the wrong reason!
hahaha....that HK movie song really 丟那星 funny max. Once in Canada BC, that year we got White-Out snow storm. Few feet stacked snows, will be nothing but nightmare to shovel and push.
Haha, indeed, that scene just reminded me of that HK movie, feel bad if i didn't include that song in 🤣. I see, no wonder Simon loves our weather here in Singapore so much. esp in December.

Yeah man, i got a shock when i hit into a tree and met with the spider crab! Show you the footage next time 😅. The restaurant is nice indeed, didn't know its existence until this trip!

Oh, my memory kinda of failed me, we probably launched at 12pm then😅. Yes, we took 5 hours for everything, filming, resting and fighting choppy waves coming back. Normally it shouldn't take so long, about 4 hrs should be good enough for a relaxing trip there and back.
I like ur videos and have subscribed to ur channel alrdy coz ur videos are informative especially stating the distance from launch place to the destination and also time taken to reach the destination 👍 Keep it up!
Hey! Thanks for this cool video, and for allowing me to join on these discovery adventures!!
Thanks Simon, hope you enjoyed our local river. It is very cool to paddle with you in the mangroves, we shall catch up again!
