Perfect APPLE PIE ☆ CHARLOTTE for tea ☆ The most successful recipe!

  • Delicious charlotte with apples in the oven - this is my favorite recipe. It's easy and quick to prepare, and it turns out incredibly tasty! The dough turns out very tender and with a pleasant creamy taste. You'll like it!
    It is best to take apples that are sweet and sour, crisp and not watery. Watery apples will produce juice and may need to be baked a little longer. In general, you can use any apples, but the taste of the finished pie also depends on them. So take the most delicious ones :)
    You can peel the apples if you want. You can cut the apples into smaller pieces, this will make the pie more tender; I like it better when the apples are noticeable in the pie and in large pieces.
    The larger the diameter of the mold, the faster the cake will bake. I recommend not using a diameter smaller than 20 cm. Round shapes 20-22 cm are best suited. If you have a square shape, then it is better to take a size of 20x20cm, a rectangle of 25x15cm.
    Ingredients:
    - 100g butter;
    - 100g sugar;
    - 2 eggs;
    - 50 sour cream (can be replaced with cream, yogurt);
    - 150 flour;
    - 1 tsp. baking powder;
    - 2 tbsp. milk;
    - a pinch of salt;
    - 4 apples* (~500g);
    - cinnamon (optional);
    - walnuts or almonds.
    *2.5-3 apples cut into a pie, 1-1.5 apples for decoration
    1. Beat soft butter, sugar and a pinch of salt until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating each time. Add sour cream and stir.
    2. Mix the sifted flour with baking powder. Add to the butter-egg mixture and stir until smooth and there are no lumps. Add 2 tbsp milk and stir.
    3. Remove the core and seeds from the apples. Cut 2.5-3 apples into cubes (the size is at your discretion, I cut them into medium cubes), add the apples to the dough and mix. Cut the remaining 1-1.5 apples into half rings for decoration. Transfer the dough into a mold L=20cm. Place apples on top. Sprinkle with walnut pieces. Sprinkle cinnamon on the apples.
    4. Bake at 175°C for about 35-40 minutes, be sure to check the readiness with a wooden skewer or toothpick - it should come out of the pie dry. My pie took almost 40 minutes to bake.
