As much as respect KH should get for this fight let's not forget it was Ereshkigal who who took the lion's share of the burden to weaken Tiamat otherwise it might have been even difficult for KH himself to kill her off. And of course Gilgamesh's Ea was the icing at the top.
Small mistake/clarification about King Hassan. - The fight was not ordered by the Counter Force, Tiamat was not a threat to the Counter Force and King Hassan for having helped Fujimaru lost his title of Grand Assassin. - King Hassan cannot face Tiamat alone. He made her mortal and that's it. He can't kill her, without the support of the Counter Force he is barely as strong as Tiamat's 12 new children. (The Lahmu of the end who were stronger than Ishtar) It was not Azrael who made Tiamat mortal but Evening Bell which allows mortality to be known only to immortal beings (and only works on immortal beings) - King Hassan is not immortal contrary to what I see everywhere in comments. He only has the Battle Continuation skill at EX rank. As long as he does not receive a decisive fatal blow he does not die but he is therefore mortal if he receives a powerful blow. "Battle Continuation EX The ability to resume combat. Allows for survival unless dealt a decisively fatal blow, continuing to fight even when sustaining a wound that leaves one on the verge of death. This swordsman who is no longer certain whether he is alive or dead, even if he receives a fatal wound or loses half of his body for example, will keep snapping at the enemy as if he was in perfectly good health." Many think that it was Hassan who carried the end of Babylonia but this is false, if he had to face Tiamat without Gilgamesh he would be defeated without any difficulty. I remember that : - King Hassan failed to prevent Tiamat from wanting to return to the surface, he was overwhelmed by the Lahmu - King Hassan couldn't do anything against Nega-Genesis (he couldn't stop it and got consumed in it and struggled to survive) - King Hassan couldn't hurt Tiamat (he could only make her mortal and that's it) - Azrael is a rather weak noble phantasm, only rank C and has a very low chance of killing his target. And it has to be able to injure its target to work, so it could never have worked against Tiamat. I also point out that Gilgamesh would also have struggled to defeat Tiamat without Hassan. While I'm sure that full-powered Ea can defeat Tiamat (but will do way too much collateral damage) his anti-immortality weapons such as Harp or Black Barrel would have been more complicated to use against Tiamat.
