"We are not the children of Africa, We are the parents of Africa, because the Africa that we want is yet to be born and we are the ones that history has charged with responsibility to give birth to the African we want" - Chinua Achebe.
❤️🔥🖤🔥💚🔥💛 !

#RespectBrother✊
“We have a psychotic addiction to colonial definitions.” - Brian Kagoro, Lawyer, Activist, Pan Africanist. DAMN. 🔥💯
Kagoro is one of the genius African continent has. Such tremendous, revealing, enthusiastic comments this man has portrayed is beyond my understanding. Just feel if Africa can harvest these men of outstanding sobriety and great IQs we can still achieve our millennia goals quickly... Africa needs real democracy and fair power sharing not as a game but a resilient commitment to serve her people. I may sound queer but I believe from the contextual point of view Mr Kagoro sir You have spined round the globe and am convinced and now concerned with the critical marathon our continent is on in terms of all the structural abilities and capabilities we are to counter in this era against the white supremacist demography and the so called world super powers ranked.. I have loved to hear you for the first time and immediately I subscribed with the notification bell. Thanks so much
This is deep. "A people must believe in themselves "
" Even the thieves are not patriotic"
This man is so Brave and Educated
I grew up with Brian. Hes always been brilliant. A born leader. Well spoken my brother. May God elevate your discourse to expand the African Intellectual narrative that we need to own our economies, discoveries and development. Thank u bro.
Justly, accurately and comprehensively put. You’ve just won a new follower Mr Kagoro.
Africa needs to look inwards, as there’s more potential, history and native intelligence than anybody considers.
Everyone outside of the continent dislikes Africa, but everyone who’s established some kind of presence there, damned well refuses to leave!
_Clearly_ outsiders notice _something_ worthwhile albeit couched in pejorative thoughts, why can’t and why don’t the (so called) African (looking) leadership..?! 🤷♂️🤯
This video provides a mirror that reflects the leadership challenges that the Black World faces.
I can see feel and sense the reality of hero blood in our real Africa brother. May you be protected from the inner and outsiders enemies. 🙏
Wake up Africans
God has given us senses, so we shouldn't waite for him to save us from these wolves .
Love from Sierra Leone 🇸🇱
A state in afrika ❤❤❤
Wow. Thank you for sharing. Africa will heal itself and even heal the rest of the world at large.
🙏from Ethiopia
This man is on point. We should never let anyone tell us to forget about what happened to our fore-parents during SLAVERY. We should never forget. We do not just want apologies, WE WANT REPARATIONS and the time is now. We waited long enough.
Wow!!!! Can AU give this man youth to guide!!!! He gives hope to Africa
Why am just finding out about Brian Kagoro? Thisan is golden.
Brilliant Brilliant Brilliant 👏🏿 share share share I have never heard such a Brilliant speech from a Brilliant gentleman in Africa I hope the good Lord will guide and protect him from all evil and I hope that he will play a part in guiding Africa to where they belong in the future. Powerful! His intellectual clarity on pan Africanism & world affairs is beyond measure .👌
Extreme brilliance. Kudos boss
This is a Powerful Voice in the Pan African Movement ,we shall be inviting him to Kenya soon
Brian Kagoro is always on point! His message is profound and pertinent in our struggle for freedom as Afrikans, at home and in the diaspora
I was born & raised in the US, and with all that has & is going on with black people here what I see going on in Africa hurts & bother me more than what’s going on here. My prayers are being directed to Africa and I still believe that She is the greatest continent on earth. 🙏🏽💔🙏🏽💔🙏🏽
The value of your people is important, EXCELLENT LEADER
Most excellent analysis Mr Kagoro
True statement from how we wait to educate.
Wonderfully stated
Brilliant Brian......well done my Leader!!! Please stand for President of Africa
"A naked emperor cannot lecture us how to be clothed." So true!
I am delighted to hear this speech in an African forum, by an African. I agree wholeheartedly. My proffesors in the U S academia spoke this way in the 1980s and by the 90s a decade later, many of us had become disillusioned with African "leadership". I think China has done wonders to resucitate Africa.
Then with all due respect, you haven't listened thoroughly. China is just another one of many who practice anti-black racism and are only interested in resources and not making friends. So watch the video again, and really listen this time.
did you just say China? Really?
Beyond brilliance.
Factually articulate.
Poignant and thought provoking.
Africa. Please listen to this condensation and distillation of undeniable facts.
Thank you brother.
A black man with knowledge is a target for US, EU western devilish leaders - Have this man Brian Kagoro safe and protected by all means Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 should be proud having this son and may his lectures become standards in all schools in Africa ☝🏾💯💪🏾🙏🏾
You sound like another cultural clueless marxist
Absolutely I’m so sad that I wasn’t in the room with you Strong Melanated Distance Family. I’m a descendent of Slavery and your right 👏👏👏👏👏
This brother is speaking the absolute truth. He is a man that I would like to meet and join the fight with him for the good of Africa and Her People.
That you Brian for the information you present.
You are a voice Sir 🙏🏿✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿
Joining from Cameroon
AWESOME SPEECH. CONGRATULATIONS.
Stunning and powerful speech, reflecting the truth in Africa as it is today!...
Love this man. Why aren’t African Leaders and companies listening to this man.
My greatness!! This man speaks with so much truth..we must stop abandoning ourselves
100%
Pray for African unity and progress. I see Africa has a brighter future listening to Brian Matula Kagoro.
❤ This is a lesson to our memories to change the world .
Hon.Brian Kagoro I agree with you 100% we do not utilize our own talent I echo what you say
From
MariamAdamconsultant
Yes, yes, speak. I’m so tired of the hypocrisy of Europeans and our willingness as Africans to entertain them. I’m so tired of us remaining silent while we suffer and I’m so glad that our people are starting to speak up no matter where in the diaspora you are. We need to become solidified as brothers and sisters in the fight for our humanity back. Now is our time and I hope we don’t let it pass us by
But this can only be achieved through strategic action not mere rational arguments. Actually, there's also a new hypocrisy arising among African politicians of using the card of Western hypocrisy to draw large support from local citizens only to end up appeasing the Westerners and making personal deals with them while oppressing the citizens that elected them into power
Yes yes yes so true ❤
As a south Africa I do follow Africans debate all the way.
THIS GUY KNOWS WHAT IS TRUE, AND WHAT IT WOULD TAKE TO FIX THE SYSTEM !!!!!
Totally in agreement
Very articulate Zimbabwean
What a brilliant mind 👏
Nailed it in the first 17 seconds! 💯
Powerful man indeed❤
I love everything that this man said. Pure enlightenment ❤
What a great African teacher! Keep teaching my elder brother!
Having lived my early life in South Africa and now in the UK, your talk is as relevant to our leaders as it is to yours. So completely useless are they that they cannot invest in our own country but must plunder yours for skilled manpower - or is it 'people power'? All we can go on about is using the correct pronouns and how racist we are and how the climate catastrophe is coming to get us. Also, their appetite for rolling over to power-grabbing international institutions like the WEF, the UN and WHO is nauseating and underlines their utter incompetence. Powerful talk and powerful message.
I am really Humbled that you have touched my heart by mentioning the current situations of Lybia and lraq thank you so much for your Foresight
He said a mouthful. It makes a lot of sense.
Thank you for your contribution, we share the same aspirations.
What we actually need is a dynamic and Pan African AU Leader.
Brian Kagoro is an intellectual par excellence. As a South African i am proud to be African, to know that here on our continent live men and women of such substance
The inability to work together creates a breakdown in society and Africa is a perfect example. Our aim as humans on the continent is at personal level to succeed regardless of the way we do it.
Absolutely brilliant analysis that should be internalize by all African leaders as well as all Africans and friends!
Does Africa have leaders?
Well articulated my dear sir, let's hold our leadership to account.
What a great speech. The key arguments should be integrated over here in Germany, to change our behaviour, our attitude and our relationship to the African people ñ
No more "white man rich man better knowing what's best for you". Developing a learning attitude, to learn from Africa's wisdom.
Sincerely from Germany
Higher you have listened and a very keen reader of the bible I can see
POWERFUL!!! FEARLESS AND IS RISEN!!
My take on it, even as an updated point of view; Blacks as a whole (especially as applying to both African and American Blacks [maybe one more so than the other and vice versa]) we fail in these five to six main areas: 1) The Idea Of A Non-proven One All Omnipotent God/Religions; 2) Not Having Overall Desire Or Values Toward True Ancient, Historical Knowledge & Science; 3) Negative Female Rulership By Non-Postnatal Trained ('Crooked Natured') Women; 4) Limited, Average Life Span; 5) Not Having Economic Productive Type Values (Needing Someone Else To Do What You Yourself Can Do While Also Not Maximizing On The Full Utilization Of Your Community's Or Continent's Natural Resources) & Finally, 6) The Allowed Destruction Of Family.
Hey, so good to hear these messages of truth. Sometimes hard for people to acknowledge that we have a lot to do with what’s happening with us now and what happened with us before, but it’s time to make a change. I am so very thankful. where is men and women? They have the courage to speak out and are doing things to me. It’s setting all of us not just some of us.
Wow, he is brilliant everything he said point by point needs to be available in print for evey African to include the ones that aren't tec savvy or don't have wifi-internet. Thanxxx for sharing God bless Africa.❤❤❤
This man is wise
So much wisdom, very rich speech
This guy is insightful.
very.
Transformative conversation 👍🏾
Profound.I would not have known that.
Africa, its time. Black people in America, its time. Black people in the Caribbean, its time. To Africans everywhere, its time. We know what needs to be done. Lets get to it.
I salute you my brother
Excellent
I am more than impressed with Brian Kagoro, as he speaks the truth and has the foresight to see the possible prospects of the future. I agree 100% with his philosophy and, as the Bible says, the truth will set us free. We have to become globally inclusive and proactive as a diaspora. Our numbers and diverse global placements make us more powerful than the divisive European will never admit, but dreadfully fears.
Amazing said🙏🙏
Kagoro is such an intellectual, we need regeneration of truth and knowledge.
This man is brilliant 👏
I am happy that all the best ,intelligence and fore sight is in our nations (continent) . Vast knowledge will bring us (Africans) to one body. Thank you for the sterling job.
Thanks, you brother this is a time for Africans to work on their right in mutual sense as per
This narrative is really nice and well presented indeed. Thanks so much for sharing this very important awareness. Africa must, unite and rise up for the continent. The continent is crying for good and honest leadership
The statement "Africa is not broke, Africa is broken" cuts to the heart of a critical and often overlooked reality. Africa is a continent rich in resources, culture, and potential, yet it continues to face immense challenges many of which stem not from a lack of wealth but from systemic exploitation, poor governance, and historical injustices. Africa’s wealth has long been siphoned off by colonial powers, external corporations, and international entities, leaving many African nations in a state of dependency rather than independence. This brokenness is not about material poverty, but about broken systems; political, economic, and social that prevent the continent from realizing its true potential.
One of the most significant obstacles to Africa’s growth is the inferiority complex that has been ingrained in many of its people and leaders, often as a result of the colonial legacy. This mindset perpetuates the belief that Africa is incapable of greatness or that its resources are best managed by external powers. This complex not only harms individual self-worth but also holds back collective progress. If Africa is to achieve its rightful place as a global superpower, this mindset must be dismantled. The belief that Africa is inferior to the West or other regions must be replaced with a recognition of Africa’s immense potential, both in terms of its people and its resources.
Africa has the means to be a global leader. Its vast natural resources, young population, and cultural diversity give it a unique position on the world stage. With the right investments in infrastructure, education, technology, and innovation, Africa has the capacity to become a major player in the global economy. However, this requires a shift in mindset. African nations must embrace their power and sovereignty, and reclaim their narrative from external forces that have long controlled the continent’s resources and policies.
To achieve this, Africans need to focus on building internal capacity developing human capital through education, empowering local industries, fostering innovation, and establishing stronger political and economic institutions. Pan-African unity should also be a central pillar in this transformation, where African countries come together to support each other and forge a collective path toward prosperity. This would enable Africa to have a stronger voice in global affairs and take a seat at the highest tables.
The change in mindset needed is one that moves away from dependency and toward self-reliance and self-determination. Pride in Africa’s heritage and confidence in its potential must replace the lingering belief that African nations are incapable of competing on the world stage. If Africans begin to believe in their own abilities, and if African leaders commit to accountability, good governance, and sustainable development, the continent will not only survive but thrive, positioning itself as a global superpower with a powerful voice in shaping the future of the world.
In essence, the path forward for Africa is not about finding wealth it is about empowering its people, changing the mindset, and overcoming the broken systems that have kept it from realizing its potential. Africa’s greatness is not a matter of if, but when provided the change starts from within.
I love this🙂, 🇿🇦
Thank you Brian for being a True Man centred within your Heart. One who is Living Life Physically bring about the return of your Peoples Vibrant Loving Culture & Lands to their former Glorious state I recall so fondly🙂 May these Seeds Lovingly Planted by You be Fruitful & Fulfilling baring much good Fruit for the great Nation of Africa. Go in Peace & Take Care, Al
I support what Brian says. Build yourself up. Believe in yourself. That means: No communism or collectivism. Individual people must be free to try for themselves and own stuff themselves. Without that, nothing else matters. Stop worrying about the US or EU. Russia and China the same. Worry about patriotism. Stop worrying about mining. Let them mine and make sure they pay tax. Then use the tax to build key support structures for local business and skills - banks, colleges, universities, incubation hubs for getting micro businesses to grow into small businesses which become independent and pay tax
How enlightening. Let the truth be told!❤
This kind of thinking is what africa should be all about bless you.. keep on spreading the truth.
tell them me brother, let open up the African continent to all Africans wherever they are our strength is in the togetherness of all our people wherever they are, the diaspora must know that Africa will open her arms to them and give them priority over everyone else.
Zimbabwe is the intellectual base of Pan-Africanism.
During my years at Gifford, I had the pleasure to have a deserving Head Boy, Brian. Not surprised to hear transparency and cohesion from Brian. Bravo you have my vote.
