What ever happened to the 'b side' of Christianity? Some context for the younger generations: For those of you that don't know, way back when people would pay for music we would purchase a 45 (rpm) record with the A side having your favorite song and the B side was whatever the record label decided to share. So throughout the years, I've always heard about the 'Top 10 list', and The Great Commission always make the cut. "To go throughout the world spreading the gospel". However, seldom do we hear the b side; "If anyone does not welcome you or listen to your words, shake the dust off your feet when you leave that house or town." (Mt 10 | 14). Would we have Islamic extremist, if the US had not been involved with the Iranian coup d'état (1953)? Food for thought, Andy since you love history. But I digress... Meanwhile, what happens to the Sentinelese? [As we continue to play the scratched record] Are these 'savages' excluded from the great commission? As much as the offering plate has been passed around for centuries, why doesn't any church send missionaries to the North Sentinel Islands, (one of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands in the Indian Ocean). I know God is just as powerful on a 'forbidden' island as much as He is where you can find a McDonald's and Coca Cola. - So instead of waiting around for political parties to unite, perhaps we should have the Baptists, Pentecostals, Mormons, and "non-denominational" churches to start the mission. → Or are we waiting around for civilization to set in before we can gather enough resources to meet the capitalist requirements?
tried to get bank account details for international transfers from your staff, but that seems to be a challenge. so I remain part of the 53% non-giving percent ;)
