If they ever run out of ideas for resident evil, they can make an alternate universe where the cancelled versions take place instead
That would be fun
I still crave for that original resi 5
Run out of ideas? They could stop with the side stories & release Resident Evil 7 is what they could do
@@ConservativeJuggaloPodcast we got RE7 and it was a masterpiece. Cope
You mean if they run out of remakes 🤣
RE6 seriously needs a HUGE makeover! I definitely wouldn't mind because as a fan I still loved and enjoyed the original
I still ply it and of course mine has nothing to do with the one you know kid ! For ex I have Resident Evil 2 Remake costume for Ada with colors choices , Sherry and Helena with Skirts and new upper clothes as well ! , mercenaries music is different for every stage, the stamina is infinite ♾ with makes me make long combos etc... infinite stamina is the only cheat I use, I don’t use infinite ammo or something else ! Yeah I know I m cool 😎my version is way cooler
They won’t remake 6 because the core of the game was what was wrong. The story was lazy, the mechanics were lazy, the set prices repeated 100s of times.
To remake it would be useless. They’d essentially have to start from scratch. Add the fact that the nostalgia for RE games pretty much ends at RE4.
The hate it got was, at least primarily unjustified. Leon, for example, has enough experience since RE2 and RE4 to know what he's getting into this time around. It was obviously going to go action, as the horror couldn't last forever. Not with these characters experience.
Nah RE6 is ass
@@Ablyeon2002 How so? Particularly.
Creating RE7 with all those changes was one of the best choices in the game industry. That game revived the RE series.
Absolutely not, RE7 could've been a new title and it would have been indiferent to the game, while the 2,3 and 4 remakes are the true successors to RE6
@@guibyn youre missing the point. This game DID revive the series. 2 3 and 4 remakes were made after 7 came out. Therefore, it was the one that blew up and brought it all back.
@@guibyn resident evil 5 and 6 were dogshit games. If 7 didnt break the cycle the series wouldve gone down the drain.
7 and especially 8 are trash RE games. It's fantasy not sci-fi horror. It has no need to bear the RE name and without it would be better off
RE engine saved RE, not these over hyped outlast clones. It's not even scary, you're a B.O.W. Its more on rails than any other main title game. There's a way you're supposed to play it and a path you're supposed to go. No fumbling around exploring, I'd rather buy a game like scorn for that experience
@@RADIANTRAIN5 you cant just call it an outlast clone because its first person. Lol. Theres plenty or exploring to do in both of the titles you mentioned, maybe you just didnt play them. Like it or not. It saved the series after a drought of 2 dogshit games. That is not an opinion. It is objective fact. Re7 was apparently so good, that they decided to make another game with the same protagonist. Youve obviously never played the games. Every RE game is linear. Theres not a fuck ton of exploring to do. They are story driven games. Not open world exploration games. Nor have they ever been that.
Even though RE 6 got bad reviews, it was one of my favorites.
To be fair I would absolutely play a game with Leon and Sherry and if Claire could there as well. That would be even better. They give me such found family vibes. I would totally love to see them working together and saving each other. Much like Ethan trying to save his family.
Justice for sherry birkin
resident evil 6 needs a sequel we definitely need to know what happens to main characters after 6.
Residint evil 6 is crap. Nobody needs a Sequels
RE6 was a mistake
@@sterkriger2572 just like you sorry i couldn't resist
RE6 is good Game for their characters not the Game, togueter again the characters of RE Will be awesome
@@sterkriger2572shut up
I’d definitely choose Leon and Sherry over Winters. Shame it was cancelled and we got two re games having numbers but which felt like spin-offs. Still great games, but nowhere near re caliber.
Re7 was definitely a re caliber game you could make an argument for village but re7 is what brought back that classic re formula we probably wouldn't have had re2 remake without it, but I do wish they finished our the story of the old characters before introducing Ethan all those guys
Wtf? RE7 and 8 are two of the best RE games.
I'm mostly agreed with you, but calling the current RE7 nowhere near RE caliber is kinda harsh.
Still like Winters Saga and I feel it was a needed break for the "main" timeline, they probably needed more time to brew storyline after RE6 fiasco and I can understand it.
There are opinions and then there is being blinded by nostalgia, res 7/8 are great “reboots” of the series after what 6 did
@@criert135 wrong lol they both suck
Im so glad re7 happened but id love to see something like this in the future, especially with the choice mechanic from re3
Yes, I would also like to try this version in the future. If the fans welcome this canceled version, Capcom will also think about this version.
I'd be nice if they recycle this for a Revelations 3 game
@@Nin_the_Shinobi hell yes
you dont mind that they removed alot of content from Resident Evil 3, besides from the dated graphics the original is such a better game.
@@CristopherETrejo I've been slowly playing og re3 and it's definitely one of the best in the series! Remake was a disgrace.
1:18 is literally assassins creed
Personally, I like the way RE7 went.
Even more, the RE8. The fear of going to one's ancestral hometowns aka villages , is still rooted in many people.
Especially the ones who practice strange rituals.
Re7 and 8 and great games but besides the inventory system they just really don’t feel like RE games especially 8 which goes from somewhat a survival horror action game to just a full blown action game near the end
@@jacobross735 well, that is for a reason, in the first half, you're Ethan, a civilian with no tactical training whatsoever, but still knows how to use guns and fight your way through...
In the second half, you're Chris Redfield, a veteran who knows what to do and is essentially a soldier with special training in anti bioterrorism, so it makes sense for the game to be frenetic but easier towards the end.
@jacobross735 So lets see, RE7 is set in a house, has characters that spit cheesy lines(Jack Baker), zombies, puzzles, Umbrella unsurprisingly being involved with the situation, science lab being discovered underneath the area, monsters evolving into grotesque beings, uhhh... yeah DEFINITELY not Resident Evil at all.
@@jacobross735you could say the same about resident evil 4. You make no sense
personally the last two games were good but feel nothing like resident evil to me. I genuinely didn’t care for the winters. it also plays nothing like original resident evil although i get they did it to be up to date with whats in trend and get a few of the younger generations invested on the franchise.
They probably might saved this as Resident evil revelations 3 timeline story set between 6 to 7.
Just like there did with Revelations 1 set between 4 to 5 & Revelations 2 set between 5 to 6.
iirc what we have as Resident Evil 7 initially started off as Revelations 3 but was bumped up to mainline title
Honestly, I would have preferred this version than the version we had in 2017.
why?
@@bepohal I'm simply not a fan of the last two Resident Evils to date. I stick to the 6 episodes. But it remains subjective for me.
You're the worst kind of "fan"
@@SpikeYT97 agree, village was a good game but terrible resident evil, 6 had lots of flaws but still felt as a resident evil game (except for Chris' campaign, that was an abomination), 7 is rather boring, saved by Jack and Margaret to be honest, village has great weapons and dimitresk and Heisenberg, but that's it, the rest is very unremarkable
@@NeroTP it only felt re because of the characters
The hate Resident Evil 6 got was, at least primarily unjustified. Leon, for example, has enough experience since RE2 and RE4 to know what he's getting into this time around. It was obviously going to go action, as the horror couldn't last forever. Not with these characters experience.
Plus? Leon and Ada's relationship; they need to get on with it, already.
Agreed. 👍🏻
If they ever do RE5 remake, I hope they base it off of the scrapped early singleplayer version. That version sounded awesome. Could've been alot more in line with what RE4 did
if they do RE5 remake (which i'm sure they will) then i HOPE they keep fucking CO-OP in... RE5 without CO-OP would be like RE4 without the castle, sadler and krauser
@@lukabrasi001 the thing that always bugged me about RE5, was that it's 4.5 Beta version had some really cool f***ing concepts and ideas in both gameplay and story, but they all had to be scrapped for the sake of the CO-OP feature.
The CO-OP is fun as hell, don't get me wrong, but you can tell that the single player experience suffered from it, which was the same problem with Dead Space 3.
I think I'd be down for an RE5 remake that first and foremost focuses on creating a good and classic single player Resi experience and then afterwards implements the CO-OP feature as a fun addition, but one that isn't mandatory to make the game fun
RE 5 was the most fun and it was because of the co-op. That's not to say you can make it great without it but it's not really believable that Chris would go it alone. Bsaa agents would at least be in pairs and the "your partner is dead at the start" thing belongs to 4, no need to overplay it
@@RADIANTRAIN5 and besides, we know Chris could handle himself alone but yeah one man armies are generally less fun than duos. plus africa was a fun place to explore, but it's really evident that RE5 is just a reskinned RE4 with all the animations and mechanics so i hope Capcom won't pull another RE3 remake on us...
We need Carlos Oliveira back ingames...
honestly speaking i think one of the many reasons (And an important one ) they choose to go with the vibe in re7 is simply because they wanted to make a game as a test for the new Engine
We can see from re7 to re4 remake how obviously the engine improved and some of the things they can do now was very very VERY hard for them to do because it was a pretty new engine
so re7 was a game that was made to be a test for there new engine
i would've loved something that followed re6's plotline
re7 is ok but i think it's kinda weird that there's no continuation to re6's story or a conclusion to many beloved old characters (Sherry Chris redfield Leon etc..) And even new ones like helena and jake (Specially jake )
this would be way better that re4 remake
Did y’all use AI to narrate this video? Lol. The voice sounds off
yes. Sounds like AI.
RE7 and RE8 were masterpieces. Adding new characters and play style to the series almost seemingly seperate from the franchise and then tying it back in was a genius move
I disagree. 7 was good but I don't consider 8 to be a resident evil game! resident evil 8 is so far from what made resident evil great that I couldn't bring myself to play it.
@@theedisonproject88 finaly
ffs seriously people throw that term around so much it means absolutely nothing anymore. They were decent games, not masterpieces. Far from it
7 and 8 are not masterpieces in any way at all.
village is a masterpiece, so unique
I remember when RE2 Remake was coming out and Capcom had a survey. Can't recall the question but was along suggestions and suggested they'd follow a split in timeline and create a consistent follow up from the RE's of Raccoon City. So much to take away I feel later entries moved almost entirely away from.
Kinda my point from elsewhere in the comments, I wish they had 7 and 8 as a reboot as well as doing the REmakes for older fans. If they took out established re lore and characters (well... Chris) I might actually be able to love the new games. Instead any game going forward after 8 I can't see myself being invested in. It's too far away from the original script 1 built and 2 mastered
@@RADIANTRAIN5bad take 7 and 8 are borh great games
They can just do it for RE9 tho and instead of sherry they can replace her with Ethan's daughter
Since Chris is the only one who's familiar with her he and her can be the main protagonist
I don't think that Sherry is Ethan's daughter instead of Rose. The new information about Resident Evil 9 will happen after the release of Resident Evil 4 Remake and we have to wait until the release of Resident Evil 4 Remake.
No fu*k that go back to OG RE and keep Leon and Sherry
They've already said no more Winters family
Bro, no. Rose's DLC is self-contained in the future. 16 years later, Leon and Chris would be really really fucking old. I'd prefer them not doing that.
Sherry needs a come-back, Jill and Claire too.
@@Evil_News wait what?! RE9 is going to get announced soon?!
While i liked what we got with Re7 i would of loved to see leon again
I'm calling bs, as one of the pictures is simply taken from one of the ports in Assassin's Creed Revelations' Istanbul.
I really thought Jake was going to take over as the main character but guess that'll never happen smh
They could still reintroduce him in a future Revelations. Though it also pains me that they are leaving all those characters in the dust in preference for the Winters 🙄
That's nice, Jake is trash anyway
They could incorporate the ideas of it into a revelations 3
I personally hate both RE7 and The Village on account of the FPS perspective, sluggish combat mechanics and garbage new lead protagonists. Those two games didn’t save RE because that franchise has always been successful. Despite being the least favorite RE 5 and 6 made tons of money for CAPCOM and I really miss the OG RE tank control style gameplay. The first three RE games will always be the best. No matter what CAPCOM chooses to do next it will never be as good as RE1,2 and 3.
Agree wholeheartedly.
People seem to think faster gameplay and high graphical polish (and not fidelity, because they're lying about that, but its very complex issue that many people won't understand, i barely do but i can see it anyway..), are better than atmopshere and gameplay, so everything has more shine, more shading, lighting effects ray tracing yada yada but that doesn't make a better looking character, or make a character come to life more than previous gen graphics, artistry does. Gameplay and atmosphere/world building are most important imo, and i think the most recent RE games are dumpster fire. I mean RE 6.5 actually seems to have some very interesting ideas, and especially with 4.5, but the folks at Capcom think that anything seemingly too far removed from mindless action or mindless first person jump scares is deemed too much for the general gaming masses, it comes down to money making over creative outcomes.
@@Artesian_mirage It's amazing how your old school fanboy brain twists things to make it sound like reinventing the gameplay and horror nature of the series in RE7 is a less creative job than just repeating the same old formula. RE7 has its problems (like all games btw, including your dear classic ones) but it absolutely cant be called uncreative in comparison to this RE6.5 idea.
At least the daring attempt of departing from the classic characters is somewhat worth of praise. And i say that not even liking Ethan and the new characters... but trying something new was important. The RE devs used to rely desperately on the classic characters and that's a sign the franchise is creatively decadent. Because in the 90s things werent that way and that's how Leon and Claire were invented right on the sequel, instead of sticking to Jill and Chris. So it was after RE2 that the devs became insecure and started playing safe sticking to the classic quartet.
@@carlosaugusto9821 Lol ok so jump scares in first person view had never been done before RE 7, and P.T hadn't set a benchmark 3 years before the release of RE 7, and there wasn't thousands of youtube videos of popular streamers playing first person horror games like Outlast and Amnesia as well as PT etc etc... Yep, totally uniquely creative of the RE team to think of a first person horror games with a predictable cliched horror script and jump scare tropes, yeah, so original. Hah your argument is laughable at best. You can like that style of gameplay all you want, no problem, each to their own, but to claim it was "daring" and creative for the Capcom RE team to make RE7 at that time, its ridiculous.
The early RE formula may have needed some revamping and innovation for new gen consoles after RE2 but, the directions they eventually went in, except for RE4 which actually was very unique at the time, are legitimately creatively bankrupt, it's asinine to think otherwise. Even RE Code Veronica, which i love the atmopshere and gameplay, was just moronic in its execution, the story is a joke. But your own bias can leak through these responses ad infinitum, revealing a clear hypocrisy i'm too disinterested in to go further down a youtube comment spiral.
And and btw, Claire, Chris, Leon etc, from the 90's, their story's after RE2 were clearly not yet finished, it left it open for more content based around their objective to destroy Umbrella and for Claire to finally find her brother, again showing you are twisting things out of context and proportion to fit your own bias, you barely have any kind of argument.
Done.
Me too, I absolutely hated Re7 it was awful. All those scripted scenes where you only had 1 option to kill Jack for example.
You could shoot/ slash him a million times and nothing happened until you got in the car and ran him over.
Worst game in the series for me.
Village was alright but the story was super dumb.
@@JuicySoeren RE7 has the most pitiful Zoomed In knife animation I've ever seen. The entire game is pathetic in terms of gameplay which feels awfully sluggish and dead slow. I would expect an FPS game to be fast paced in terms of movement and handling of firearms. Ethan Limp Dick Winters takes forever to run even when he is sprinting and forever to load up and fire a gun. I agree boss fights are so one way and uninteresting. I can't decide which game I had less fun playing RE7 or The Village?! I actually had the most fun when I uninstalled both.
RE 6.5 could have been good IF they released it as a survival horror game and not an action game.
why wasn't this Revelations 2 well it at least could be Revelations 3
Is this an AI voice or a real voice :S - Pauses in strange places. Edit: 2:10 lol OK it's AI for sure XD - AI voices are getting good though jeez
Ugh I wished they went with 6.5! 😅
I agree!!!
Yes!
I would love playing re 1.5, 2.5 and 3.5 consider these unfinished games had good ideas, but this resident evil 6.5 seems horrible. I'm glad this version was canceled instead the actual resident evil 7.
Dusk Golem also said Klauser is cut from the game, at this point I totally doubt his credibility
I really liked RE 7 but today I learned that Capcom went with the "it was all an alucination!" route, which honestly kills it, this sounds really interesting,
it was never a hallucination. it's just Ethan... well, he's not himself
imo they should polished this and name it as RE 9
Given that Leon is my favorite character this upsets me lol obviously it worked out for them but I do hope they revisit 6.5 later.
Damn, as a huge house of the dead 2 fan, I’d love to see another horror game set somewhere Venice inspired.
All ima say is RE6 combat is goated and my fav RE game for that alone imo
Man, this is a hella cool video man! I think they could still drop the demo for us for fun or something, would be cool to see what ideas they had for 7.
It's funny to imagine that in an alternate universe, where the Resident Evil franchise became famous due to being pure Action and fans complained about the "new Horror direction that started with RE5" (lmao), this would've totally been RE7, and people in that universe would praise it as "the game that saved the franchise" 😂.
They should saved this scrapped material for Re revelations 3
Ngl it actually took me a minute to realize that the narration was AI. That shits getting scary good.
7 was the better reboot so for one im ok with 6.5 being cancelled and mayve getting revisited as a plot for a future title
Version 7 was really the version that saved Resident Evil from death and oblivion and brought her back to life
I really can't compare this as an avid fan. I just want to play all of them if I can, even the canceled version.
It's good that the series was revitalized, but they should finish the story for the legacy characters.
There are still many characters whose story remains incomplete.
@@Evil_News For example: giving Rebecca a new game and telling us what happened to Billy wouldn't be a bad idea. Revelations 3 for them would be my suggestion.
I agree, honestly it'll be impossible to revisit all the legacy characters and finish their stories without making the game action oriented, they seem to be building back up to action with re8 so maybe with RE 10 they'll finish their stories off with a good amount of action and horror.
I prefer this tbh... The last few games don't even feel like RE to me. It would be nice if they returned to this style for the next RE, or - while they release the remakes in this style - give the "fixed camera" a shot again like the first 3 games.
Same.
Resident evil 4 is the perfect blend of action and horror. This might be a hot take but I think it would be cool if the next resident evil would go into more in depth with weapons and kinda make it more like a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. with an open world yet still have horror elements.
i like that RE7 came in with more horror element rather than the 6.5 but I just dont think that they should cancell it
I'm sure this happened right after they released the RE1 remake on PSN and realized how much fans wanted to go back to horror roots.
I honestly would have preferred this over than what we originally got.
They might make this a side game
I wish they would do what they did for Devil May Cry and split the gameplay style of 6 into a different IP with a more fitting tone wise story. I love the gameplay (especially the mercs mode) when I was just able to enjoy the combat flow and locale's without having the "trying to take itself seriously yet be zombie micheal bay" story try to drag me out of the experience.
Idk, to me it's the opposite. RE 6 was very much a RESIDENT EVIL game. the explosions just add to the campy vibe and the plot is very resident evil. Bio terrorists everywhere all at once. Large scale outbreaks, multiple coverups, militarization on both sides. It's kinda what the other 5 games built towards. Every game had a bit of an action hero vibe
The gameplay itself was sound for the most part, but getting bombarded by rockets, forced camera perspective on whatever set pieces are going off, sprinting being the only way to really control the camera could all be improved. RE 6 is the best mercenaries by far
I would love to see Capcom revisit 2.5, 3.5 and 6.5 as fully fledged games. 2.5 could work as an Outbreak remake, 3.5 can work as a spinoff starring Claire as she investigates a cult related to Los Illuminados on Leon and Chris' request and 6.5 could be a Revelations game starring Leon, Jake and Sherry who are tasked with assisting Chris in training Rosemary Winters on controlling her powers.
It's nice that they went the other direction instead and released the resident evil 7 we have now. It's kind of a refresh for their franchise. Considering the mixed opinion about Resident Evil 6, people were probably getting tired of Resident Evil shifting more and more to action and leaving horror out. We also got to experience fresh new characters and their stories in this universe.
In hindsight then yes, I would definitely have preferred 6.5.
yeah and RE 3.5 became the prototype for another game , Devil may cry.
Would be awesome if the Demo is somewhere stored and Capcom releases it. Reminds me of Duke Nukem 2001 which got somehow released now.
1:17 this is Assassins Creed Revelations
7 was fun the first time, but after that I prefer the old RE. 8 was just more cheesy action.
RE8 was the better RE4. 7 was really good and felt OG
Cheesy action like re4?
@@bepohal the better RE4? lol🤣
@@exmatilda982 yes, boy. but what to expect from a kid who was 7 when RE4 came out, lmfao 😂😂😂
@@bepohal Just so you know, RE4 is not my favourite RE game of all time so know that I'm not being biased when I tell you Village is nothing but a cheap knock off compared to RE4😉
omg those white icons clash so badly with re 4 remake art style, i vastly prefer the big rusty and flashy looking buttons from original that look like they are trying to give you a panic attack
This new RE4 is about to get the original to skyrocket in sales because since 7 this series has gotten stagnant, more clunky than tank controls and the horror has gotten levels of haunted house that it has lost all seriousness to said horror. It's all set pieces and bullet sponges with low aim accuracy where the guns aren't even realistic damaging never mind video game levels of damaging... Re4make does not look like fun simply put. Re7 was not fun and Village was a haunted house railshooter.
This new entry isn't even reinventing the genre when the original did and took it in the direction of action horror that re6 became yet people would rather lead boot than full range combatants who allow you to feel like an action hero. I just don't understand the denial everyone is in/on. They've been butchering these remakes
"What is your opinion do you think this ..................................version would have been released." AI narrator really nailing those dramatic pauses
I wouldn’t mind capcom taking a crack at psychological horror, I think they are capable do to the freaking baby from village!
This story concept loosely got adapted to the movie Resident Evil Vendetta
Cool, but why use an AI voice for the videos
The screenshot city looks similar to Constantinople from Assassin's Creed Revelations
Wowewwww smh too bad we didn’t get this and re7 just as a different title
The place in the thumbnail is Constantinople from AC Revelations💀 I thought that was funny
The reason for cancelation RE:6.5?
Amnesia, Outlast, P.T. there i give you the reason
RE would never have died! There's old guys like me who would've kept it alive
It took me time to realize that this is an a.i voice lmao
Ngl i woulda loved this, maybe in the future we will see it return just like re4
I am seriously happy that we got 7 instead of 6.5. The action focused path of 5 and 6 just ruined the series for me and 6.5 sounds a lot like mix up of both of those. While 3.5 was a real loss and something I would have loved to play and experience, I would not like to play 6.5 .
You're absolutely right I have no idea why other people are talking about 7 as if it's not the best one since 4
I don't know if the pic on the thumbnail is legit, but bro, that is assassin's creed revelations' Istanbul in the background!
A game of Leon and his daughter? I hope we get it someday!
They need to do an spin off game that is a sequel to 6. Is the only way to put modern Leon in a game. He can’t be in a survival horror. If he sees a zombie, he will parry it with a motorcycle. He is a devil may cry character now.
You didn't seriously put an Image of Leon over AC Revelations Constantinople...
While. I’m glad resident evil 7 returned to survival horror roots but would been better if sherry birkin would been main character and get bigger role instead
It is possible that Capcom will decide to bring back old characters such as Leon, Jill, and Sherry in future releases.
@@Evil_News yes that I love it but I like better if they bring back Carlos and billy coen in future game or movie both characters has not been seen or mentioned since their debuts not retelling story of game they appeared in and what their fate status and whereabouts remains unknown to this day and capcom and creators of those characters giving us no information explanation and answers about why both men never appeared in future resident evil media nor explaining of what happened to them after event of RE0 and RE3ruclips.net/video/le5MGFNveUY/видео.html

resident evil wasn't dying. that's a huge nonsense.
other than that RE7 was a fantastic RE and it brought the franchise back to it's feet and were it belongs. zombies instead of molded or at least a bit more variety would have been appreciated as well as the last third of the game was not that good, but that's a typical RE thing

Yeah I'm glad Resident Evil 7 happened because it led to the remakes and what we're potentially getting four number four so yeah it went pretty well the only one that really kind of sucks his number 8 don't get me wrong I love lady but she should have been the final villain
It went downhill when coop started which was Resident Evil 5.. same Result with Dead space 3.. its not much of a horror game when you have a 2nd player....
Pic ist from assasins creet Revelation
Resident evil 1.5 is my favorite
7 was an amazing route for the series idec
I disagree, i thought RE7 was so boring and it felt nothing like a RE game.
@@connorsimpson503 If we didn’t get the RE7 we got but we got another RE6 type game, RE as a whole would be dead and buried. Love it or hate it, RE7 is the reason we have RE2, 3 and 4 remakes and an ongoing franchise. So it deserves our respect for that alone.
@@mkdfan What I really hate about Re6 is there no costumes and you needed to play online just to unlock costumes in Merc mode which is randomly given... The lack of content in that game was so low compared to 4 and 5... There so many content in Re6 turns out you need an internet connection Want to play as zombies... Need an internet connection It's probably nobody playing that game anymore so it's like what's the point of online 6 You're only stuck with Merc mode and they got rid of Weapon upgrades so the story mode has less replayability Like what were they thinking... I didn't like Re7 that much but at same time don't despise it and appreciate it for what it was compared to 6
@@mkdfan I dunno about that. RE6 was a success financially. So, the franchise would likely continue. But, that particular game wasn't well-received
