Infinity War theme was amazing and Civil War theme as well, that being said all hail Hans Zimmer, he birthed the superhero theme revolution. Or maybe it was Hans’ score that made me notice them but they were always there. Either way, people started paying more attention to superhero movie score’s after the Dark Knight trilogy.
Nah, the first iconic theme was William's Superman. Then Elfman's Batman. Later down the line, Superhero movies get good again and Zimmer's Batman theme is born (my personal favorite). Zimmer blows everyone away with Man of Steel and BvS had an even better score. Gregson-Williams has a great Wonder Woman OST, but it doesn't compare to Zimmer's work. And then there's the black sheep, the molwark, Elfman's Justice League. I'm sure you've heard it all before so I'm going to spare us the trouble. Anyways, Marvel has a few OSTs that really stand out. -The Winter Soldier -GotG -Civil War -Doctor Strange GotG has my favorite soundtrack. Just listen to it, man... chills up and down your spine. The Winter Soldier is also AMAZING. Jackman can do no wrong. And Doctor Strange just... it's a little hard to describe. Listen to it and you'll know what I mean.
