Eventually this all comes a roundhouse kick when their memories come back, Yiroshi being naive throughout the whole gcmm also reflected on the ending, trusting Soren too much, accpeting Sorens apology and this inevitably caused Yiroshi to walk into the trap. Soren was also just self-centred, at the start of the gcmm - he mentioned that he felt as if he could just kick Yiroshi out the school ; he believed he was the superior to Yiro. Even in the flashbacks, Soren was portrayed as OBSESSIVE, when Yiro came by the family photo of Soren, you could see the words of Soren - the red text would get darker whenever Soren insulted Yiroshi and would go back to normal red when Soren loved Yiroshi. A symbolism for how yiroshi would lose himself whenever Soren got toxic but regain himself when Soren loved him. This also has an impact on when Yiroshi decided to accept his love for Soren - showing how he depends on Soren for his own sanity and sake. well the whole plot of the story was falling inlove with a toxic ex once again, as yk how victims usually run back to their abusers, this was basically a symbolism to how victims always end up in a loop if they dont learn from their mistakes and in this gcmm it shows how yiroshi hasn't moved on from soren, causing him to fall back into sorens trap over and over again
