Beyond the Photo at Graiguenamanagh, Co. Kilkenny, Ireland

In this video I search the beautiful town of Graiguenamanagh/ Tinnahinch for photo compositions along the River Barrow and also pay a fleeting visit to the weir and mill in Kells Village. Happy New Year! Great to see a new video from you. Another super quasi tutorial informative video. To answer your q, my favourite of the 3 colour alternatives was the B&W one. I am a big fan of B&W! Have you ever done a video on the gear you use, cameras/lenses/filter system and tripod? What tripod do you use? Also, why don't you use a remote control? Happy New Year to you, Regards, Wadirunner.

Thank you very much Robert! Thanks for your comment, I liked the B/W one too certainly better than the colour one! No I never did a gear video, I use a standard Manfroto 190x tripod but some months ago I bought a geared head for it to help with small adjustments and I really like it. I use a remote control on occasion but never a cable release i don't like the lead swinging from the camera. Most of time it's the 2 second timer unless i'm trying to capture wave action then it's just the shutter button or remote. I use the hahnel capture remote but have recently changed systems for Nikon to Fuji and I had to order a new cable for the receiver to camera...expecting it anyday now. The muted one is great. What did you do for that? Just lower the sat?

Thank you very much Sí, yes reduce the saturation but importantly apply a little bit of a yellow filter, gives it a nice tone when desaturated. Thanks for watching!
