노력하면서 아주 부지런하게 밥 잘 챙겨 먹으면서 지내고 있어요!!
너무 예쁜 프라이부르크의 초여름을 영상에도 많이 담아보았습니다
골칫거리 그 자체였던 민폐 옆방 이웃과도 얼추 문제를 해결했구요...
야심차게 마카롱을 만들어 보려다가 대차게 망하기도 했어요...
그때 미리 만들어둔 말차 필링은... 아직도 제 냉장고에 고이 보관되어 있답니다

fun fact from a german: even during the day there's some hours where you have to be quiet. our quiet hours usually are 12-15 and 22-6! I'm glad you were able to find a solution with your neighbor tho and I hope it'll be better in the future! :)
Well, spargel and strawberries are great companion plants. It keeps the soil wet, deters pests and good for the soil too. Plus it is cheap and less strenuous for the farmer. So, you'll see many queer veggies paired together but they are mostly companion plants. I hope you're enjoying Germany. 🩷
Tip for you when re-heating any kind of bread in the oven/microwave put a mug or a small bowl of water this creates steam in there making the bread all soft like you just baked them.

I love making macarons but I spent an entire summer trying to perfect them 😓 I think your meringue was not thick enough that’s why your macronage was still liquidy. Try beating your egg whites in a bigger bowl for longer and then incorporate your dry ingredients using a folding technique (folding adds air). This will ensure a thicker macronage! Good luck :)

It's the asparagus, strawberry and rhubarb season, so everything is always sold together. In the summer comes the green sauce season with eggs, spinach and potatoes. in autumn comes the wild garlic season.
and my recommendation go pick strawberries with your girlfriends can eat as many as you want in the field and what you have picked is worth buying😂😂 Is normal to eat and pick strawberrys in germany😊

The trick to good macaroons is ageing your egg whites. Separate your egg whites 2 days prior baking and keep them refrigerated. This will ensure you a thick meringue and will not break easily. Second, always use cream of tartar or vinegar. It is a must to keep it strong. Third, since this is French meringue you need meringue that is thick like greek yogurt but don't overmix it. Try these steps. I am confident you'll succeed.❤😊

If you want to make macarons don’t use baking paper. There’s a special mat made for cooking them so they don’t stick😁

Recommendation: If you like Pretzels now, you should try them with „Spundekäs“. It’s mostly a thing in Hesse, but it tastes sooooo good!

Thank you for the lovely vlog.❤ I think the asparagus and strawberry season start at around the same time (at least here in Germany) and a lot of asparagus farmers also produce strawberries. The fields are sometimes next to each other and there are seasonal workers, usually from Eastern Europe, who first pick the asparagus and then move on to strawberries. I heard in South Korea strawberry season is actually in winter?
Anyways, i am not a fan of pretzels either, unless the crust is a bit darker and the middle parts are thin and crispy. The combination of a pretzel with butter and honey always reminds me of my grandma. 🥰
There are also strawberry fields where you can pick them yourself. Its cheaper and a fun activity.

I'm sorry you had such a bad neighbour. You can download a measuring app and show to the office. Even if it's daytime there are rules like you can't have more than a certain amount of decibel :c
I really dislike most student dorms because the walls and doors are so thin. Once i visited my friend in a dorm at evening, and an asian couple a few doors down where having ''romantic time'' and you could hear it in the whole corridor...

2) I feel for you. Unfortunately, it's the case that most people in Germany do not pay attention to their direct neighbors. You live next to the wall and you don't care that the noise disturbs others, whether you have to work or study. My neighbor lives next to me for 7 long years, 4 small children (the parents are loud as well the whole day) and for years I asked him to be quieter, 7 years of patience and politeness and he thinks I'm the enemy, now he has to leave the apartment and he tries to scare me everytime he sees me. The problem is "my apartment, I pay rent, I can do whatever I want", that's the way Germans think, or most people who live here, and it's terrible. I hope your neighbors are now quite ❤
