  • a beauty of a Gibson LG0. Near as we can tell she is a 1959, dead original hardly played guitar, it also has what I believe to be the original cardboard case with the Gibson logo.

I had my '63 LG0 , which I bought new, gone over about 4 years ago. Brazilian rosewood bridge replaced the plastic and rosewood repair for bridge plate. My luthier had the Stumac tool and plugged and reamed the peg holes. He used the same rosewood for the plugs . I put on Kleuson Supremes.
Other minor repairs and it is soooo sweet now.

Hello. Would these handle 12s and standard pitch? Thank you for your time.

@aperezdeal this guitar is setup with 12's on it. I had it at pitch in the shop for 3 months and it has had no problems. Having said that, I did drop it down a 1/2 step just because im not always watching it.

I very much appreciate the speedy reply! Thank you sir! My mother in law has one and a B-25 but with the ladder bracing I wasn’t sure if it could handle 12s. Thank you again.

      I have a '63 LG0 that I bought new.
I have used both 11s and 12s. I generally keep 11s on it but 12s for recording and stage. I can't tell any difference in action between the two but the sound is fuller wih 12s.
