What a handsome guy he is!!!!! He looks like a sweetheart. It's good to see them so well taken care of and relaxed. Thank you for the information. This is very educational and I've learned a lot from this video.
very helpful, when I was a young lad, my grandparent had a farm with 27 head of horses. but now I live in the city. And if I get a chance to be with a horse I will know what to look for. Thank you.
When I was going to ride my horse there was another girl there. She needed help picking the hooves, she asked her grandpa. Her grandpa did not know how to do and started at the toe and pulled upwords. He slipped with his hand and hit the frog really hard. He blamed the horse and got angry, the horse was in pain and stomped with his hoove. I felt really bad for the horse, why do you ask someone to help if they don't know how to do it. The horse became a little bit halt and could not be ridden for two weeks. I feel so bad for that horse! :(
Holding a horses hooves like that is going to really hurt your back. I spent years caring for percherons and had I cleaned hooves like that, I'd need back surgery.
