Oh you are right. I also think diet is not always about losing weight. It also could be a healthy life style. Anna is trying to make people go away from all these restrictive eating plans, counting calories and all this stuff, so this is why she is using the word "diet" because this is where people refer the word "diet" to.
I think it's a "false friend" thing because the german word "Diät" seems very similar to the english "diet" but it actually only has the meaning to eat restrictive to lose weight. When words are so similar we Germans just assume that the meaning is the same as well😅 I think she just mixed it up because she used the word exactly how a german would use the word "Diät"

I really reccomend having a bit of the 20% w each meal from the start! Slowly you'll start mostly craving the 80%, but the 20 won't be so scary anymore :)

Ive been following the mantra of high fiber, high protein, low carb Whole Foods and it's been working for me. I did my yearly checkup and my doctor said I was pre-diabetic, which was kinda the kick in the ass I needed to clean up my diet. If you are like me and trying to loose weight, fiber (by eating lots of veggies or just though a fiber supplement) is great because it helps you feel full while maintaining a caloric deficit so you're not super hungry all the time.
I love watching your videos and as a 15 year old I struggle so much because every girl I look at looks perfect and then I think that in order to do that I have to stay away from “bad” foods. This video has really helped me and thank you! ❤️ 😊

You inspire me to eat healthier. I've lost a lot of weight (20KGs) but my diet was still unhealthy. I eat less and excersize daily. Now I try to eat better while building muscle. Its fun and less stressful. Definitely will be part of my lifestyle now. I dont even buy expensive stuff. I find ingeredients thats locally available here.

I wish I could find Foodspring products in South Africa. It looks so good, especially the clear protein. Also, when I eat my egg on my rice cracker, i turn the egg around in the pan for one second then take it off the pan, that way the egg is still soft, but not too runny

I want to lose weight in a healthy way. I've been on it for about 3 and a half weeks, today marks the start of the fourth week, eating a balance of protein, carbs, fiber, and I'm still afraid of healthy fats (avocado and nuts), however, I'm eating pizza from time to time, as well as candy, I don't know how much I've lost but I'm not bloated anymore and the clothes I wore when I was thin (with an eating disorder) fit me. I cured my binges by incorporating foods that I like in moderation and sharing them with my siblings or friends so as not to have anxiety.

Hey Anna thanks for this video ❤ Here's a quickie vege curry: saute onion, garlic and ginger. Add coconut milk, half a spoonful of generic curry powder and same of turmeric powder. Or maybe more lol. Salt pepper and a little chilli. To the liquid i like to simmer on low: butternut squash, courgette, broccoli and peppers. Yum 😋

raw tofu is technically OK, but depending on the water it's soaked in, though. In my home country we sell the tofu in like a huge basket of water, so for the hygiene purpose the tofu must be fully cooked (at least steamed) before eating.
Anna, I am a 14 year old girl who, used to know (as a child child) how to enjoy food with balance, and love without a second thought. But now, i struggle with binge eating and overeating, and obsessing over the how much and what i eat. The last 2 days, i exercised so much and I am so so proud of myself. But when I ate, i felt guilty for eating dessert, and didn’t think I ate “healthy” enough that day. 😢 However! After watching this adorable, super heartwarmingly awesome video and recently discovering this channel of yours, I feel much more motivated to just live my freaking life. Hey Anna thanks for this video ❤ Here's a quickie vege curry: saute onion, garlic and ginger. Add coconut milk, half a spoonful of generic curry powder and same of turmeric powder. Or maybe more lol. Salt pepper and a little chilli. To the liquid i like to simmer on low: butternut squash, courgette, broccoli and peppers. Yum 😋

raw tofu is technically OK, but depending on the water it's soaked in, though. In my home country we sell the tofu in like a huge basket of water, so for the hygiene purpose the tofu must be fully cooked (at least steamed) before eating.
