Monsta x said they weren't worried about the charts because this was a gift for monbebe. When you look at the MV that way it suddenly becomes even more beautiful. I was reading the lyrics to the song on 1thek channel and just soaking in all the things they wanted to say to us monbebes. They are telling us they love us, and that even if they wander around we are the only light that shines for them, and that for that reason they want to shine for us too. At that moment when Hyungwon says "I can't be satisfied, I want to see you smile like that again" it just made my heart break, it makes the significance of this gift for us even bigger. They didn't do it for the charts, they did it because they like to see us happy, they want to see us happy all the time. That last scene with the lightsticks that made everyone go wow, doesn't it make you realize how important we are to them? It's like they're performing on stage when suddenly the sea of monbebes lights up before them, shining brighter than they've ever seen before. They look around at all the lightsticks, dumbfounded, barely able to believe how much monbebes really love them. Keep up the good work monbebe!! Let's keep on shining for our boys
m so sorry if what I saw sounds negative (it is mostly) But don't you think they have no idea who we are ? They don't know us, they want to make the fanbase satisfied so it get bigger or more supportive. That doesn't make them bad, they are trained to do that, make us feel good and special. They are not angels with the gift of unconditional love for every fan all over the globe, they are hard working artists who get satisfaction out of producing something the world enjoys, it's totally normal. But they don't love us, an artist will appreciate his supporters and feel gratitude but LOVE is something else. YES they love the feeling of success and appreciation, they love the fact that we glorify them and admire them and it's OK . It has always been that way, every human being will react that way if put in that situation. The blindfold represents all the people who still haven't taken theirs off and continue to sleep on monsta x. Edit: I was one of those people too but someone I follow on tumblr was a monbebe and I checked them out around early 2016 and loved hero. When they released all in I was like "sign me up" and added them to my long list of groups that I stan because multifandom is the best fandom. THERE IS A FACT; when shine forever was released there were 6k listeners on melon(the higher we could chart was #90) now there are only 1k people who are streaming. I even have at least 10 accounts on melon and considering most of the streamers have multiple accounts there are around 800 people who are streaming on melon. Seriosly we need more people. You cant just deny the fact streaming is the most important thing. There are big mx blogs and accs and they are just focusing on voting and streaming on yt and it harms the fandom and mx. International fans are strong enough to give a win and chart them. We are out of all charts. You dont need to know Korean in order to stream. There are millions of tutorials i followed them and now i can stream everywhere with multiple accounts. Even tho English is not my native language. i guess people are scared to try because its all korean but if you dont try, it wont help. I randomly clicked everywhere when i had questions and i learnt it by myself dont be scared to try its better than not trying. Only voting and streaming on youtube wont give them a win. I think many people dont know that melon(for now) genie and naver are free and only takes 3 mins an hour to stream. We were #4 on mcountdown and since debut #3 was the highest we could rank on music shows. Please dont ignore streaming and start from trying melon or genie. More of the fandom needs to realize streaming on Melon/Genie/Naver is the way to win not voting and streaming on RUclips 😥 Navigating Korean sites seem intimidating at first but there are many step by step tutorials and once you have everything set up it's pretty straightforward to use and like you said you only need to stream once an hour so it's less time consuming than streaming and voting yet more effective. Tbh I use to feel intimidated because I can't read Korean but I finally tried it this cb because I really want to help them where it counts and it's nowhere as hard as I thought.

As a monbebe, the only fandom I've joined tbh, I would like to say that MONSTA X will get the recognition they deserve. They have been through so many things, good or bad, but in the end, they say it's always for monbebes. They said that this repackaged album is a gift for monbebe, which is technically a comeback too. They have 3 fansign schedules. Can you imagine? They're so hardworking and many people need to see that. Dejana Tanaskovic when Wonho was younger his family lived in poverty and had a lot of hardships and his parents fought a lot until one day he left and he said he started hanging around a bad crowd of people some which has been charged with theft and sent to juvenile detention centers. Basically that as well as he was accused of doing drugs which he denied and says he has never done drugs, he said he didn’t want to cause problems for monsta X so he left. Same. Is a really special song to me. This was my first comeback w them and first kpop group that made my cold heart cry, when my friend said that was dedicated to monbebes and was like “wow, kpop groups dedicates songs for their fans? this is so cute.” and I was quite emotional. (my friend was introducing me to kpop groups at that time). I was in that kind of period where I couldn’t cry at all or feel any kind of emotion from like 1 year and this song made me feel emotions again. I will never forget that moment and how happy I was listening to this song and the feeling of connection as if they were my friends who I could lay on.

Ok ok… so i think i gOT A THEORY BUT I MIGHT BE WRONG… So, I see people are saying that minhyuk caused a car crash and kihyun died, and everyone blames him yadda yadda… but what if it's the opposite?? What if instead of kihyun died, he's the only one that survives?? Ok. This sounds crazy, but hear me out. The clips in vid itself is not in order so pay attention. So it all started with a car crash (0:39). We see glasses broken and a car flipped off a cliff. Then, at 1:03 we see a black and white shot of minhyuk, dragging an unconcious kihyun, puts kihyun on the ground and looks at his own hands. Everybody assumes that kihyun died, and that minhyuk feels guilty. But why did minhyuk walk away at 1:09?? Shouldn't he at least stay? Or maybe he's feeling so much guilt that he can't stand seeing kihyun? Well here's what I think. The black and white shot was a flashback. What happened right after the car crash. But why only that spesific scene of minhyuk dragging kihyun out is in black and white? Why isn't the car crash shot at 0:39 is black and white too, because it's technically a flashback, right? Well, actually. That shot was a metaphor. That's why minhyuk walked away, because he didn't survive after all. He looks down at his hands, because he didn't want this. He wants to stay, but he can't. And there's that. At 0:12 we see hyungwon putting blindfold on kihyun. Why? Well, I think that it's also a metaphor. Hyungwon's "spirit" or whatever you wanna call it didn't want kihyun to see/realize what's going on, that the boys are all dead. The reason? Well, I'm thinking hyunwong is afraid that if kihyun "see" (accepts) that they are all dead, kihyun will move on and eventually forgets them. At 0:14 we see kihyun reaching out, trying to feel his surrounding, he then fell to the floor, annoyed. It represents his cluelessness of the death of his friends. But he knows that there's something wrong. At 0:50 and 2:02 kihyun can feel that he is alone in the bottom of a dark cliff, he's feeling lost, but he still didn't realize the ultimate reality yet (that his friends are dead) because the blindfold prevents him to found out about his friends' death, and that's why he can still sense his friends, even though the truth is, it's only their spirits that are there. At 1:10 we see minhyuk looking regretful and frustrated, bangs the stirring wheel. At 1:17 wonho then realizes minhyuk's presence, and he walk away, looking kind of disappointed. Jooheon then sees wonho, and asks him what's going on. And then after that, we see the cut where jooheon confronts minhyuk in anger and shownu punches minhyuk. After that, kihyun then comes and comforts minhyuk. Other theories suggests that wonho, jooheon and shownu are all blaming minhyuk for kihyun's "death" and that kihyun himself already forgive minhyuk. But what if, it's not what they are angry about. See, at the b/w scene that i talked about earlier, the one that dragged kihyun was minhyuk. That suggests that minhyuk was the last out of all who made contact with kihyun. The others are dead already. Wonho, seeing minhyuk inside the undamaged car felt so disappointed that minhyuk is there. Because that means he's also dead with the rest of them. Jooheon and shownu then also got angry at minhyuk, because how dare he. How dare he followed them and die? Minhyuk was the one that saved kihyun. He should've at least survive with kihyun, but he didn't. That's why jooheon was angry and shownu punched minhyuk. Because they both cared. They wanted minhyuk to survive too, but he didn't, leaving kihyun alone. He too didn't want to die, but he did anyways. Then kihyun approached, comforting minhyuk, still with his blindfold. The truth is, kihyun didn't know anything. As I said earlier, because of the blindfold, he didn't realize that his friends are dead and thus still could sense them. So he can feel minhyuk is sad, albeit not knowing why. That's why he comforted minhyuk, and minyuk broke down, because he is sorry for leaving kihyun and died. We then see hyungwon and shownu found lightstick(?) at 2:26 and 2:27. To me, that represent memories, of them. The lights that can assure them that kihyun won't forget them. That's why at 2:28 the members woke up, and left kihyun alone, representing that they are ready to move on, and let kihyun face the reality that they are not there for him anymore. But not before they prepare a surprise for him. They took kihyun to a field where they lit the lights for him. All the "memories" of them, surrounding kihyun. Then they let kihyun took off his blindfold, representing that the members now have allowed kihyun to "see" and accepts the truth that the members are all died. The members won't be putting anymore blindfolds to kihyun, because they are assured that he won't need it. He will move on eventually, but he won't forget them. They will always "shine forever" in kihyun's heart. That's my theory lol. Let me know if u have questions, or if the theory have holes. Regarding Changkyunnie's little screentime… hmm… if I'm not mistaken, in All In, there's a cut where Kihyun and I.M bump their forheads together and there was a bi flag's colours discreetly painted on Kihyun's cheek… probably he'll be another significant character (if I'm right and this IS a continuation of The Clan) Well, this edit will make it look like a conspiracy theory. Seriously, this fan base has no chill (in a good way). I love how almost every comment expresses their unconditional love for these boys known as Monsta X. I see people saying that these boys never sleep, overwork themselves, and spoil us with their love so much. And in reality, we are doing the same. We are giving them our love and support. Monsta x said they weren't worried about the charts because this was a gift for monbebe. When you look at the MV that way it suddenly becomes even more beautiful. I was reading the lyrics to the song on 1thek channel and just soaking in all the things they wanted to say to us monbebes. They are telling us they love us, and that even if they wander around we are the only light that shines for them, and that for that reason they want to shine for us too. At that moment when Hyungwon says "I can't be satisfied, I want to see you smile like that again" it just made my heart break, it makes the significance of this gift for us even bigger. They didn't do it for the charts, they did it because they like to see us happy, they want to see us happy all the time. That last scene with the lightsticks that made everyone go wow, doesn't it make you realize how important we are to them? It's like they're performing on stage when suddenly the sea of monbebes lights up before them, shining brighter than they've ever seen before. They look around at all the lightsticks, dumbfounded, barely able to believe how much monbebes really love them.

I'm about to cry, the memories.. I used to come to this song in 2017 when I was feeling down and ugh... I get emotional with my era of discovering K-pop. Nothing ever touches this.
THERE IS A FACT; when shine forever was released there were 6k listeners on melon(the higher we could chart was #90) now there are only 1k people who are streaming. I even have at least 10 accounts on melon and considering most of the streamers have multiple accounts there are around 800 people who are streaming on melon. Seriosly we need more people. You cant just deny the fact streaming is the most important thing. There are big mx blogs and accs and they are just focusing on voting and streaming on yt and it harms the fandom and mx. International fans are strong enough to give a win and chart them. We are out of all charts. You dont need to know Korean in order to stream. There are millions of tutorials i followed them and now i can stream everywhere with multiple accounts. Even tho English is not my native language. i guess people are scared to try because its all korean but if you dont try, it wont help. I randomly clicked everywhere when i had questions and i learnt it by myself dont be scared to try its better than not trying. Only voting and streaming on youtube wont give them a win. I think many people dont know that melon(for now) genie and naver are free and only takes 3 mins an hour to stream. We were #4 on mcountdown and since debut #3 was the highest we could rank on music shows. Please dont ignore streaming and start from trying melon or genie. It might feel tough at first but once you start streaming, you will feel A LOT better than how you feel when you are voting or streaming on yt. and you will understand its the easiest way to support the boys yet the most effective. check monsta-xsupport out on tumblr for free pass tutorials or how to buy pass tutorials do whatever you want but please just try and dont give up until you succeed.

More of the fandom needs to realize streaming on Melon/Genie/Naver is the way to win not voting and streaming on RUclips 😥 Navigating Korean sites seem intimidating at first but there are many step by step tutorials and once you have everything set up it's pretty straightforward to use and like you said you only need to stream once an hour so it's less time consuming than streaming and voting yet more effective. Tbh I use to feel intimidated because I can't read Korean but I finally tried it this cb because I really want to help them where it counts and it's nowhere as hard as I thought.

They have been through so many things, good or bad, but in the end, they say it's always for monbebes. They said that this repackaged album is a gift for monbebe, which is technically a comeback too. Basically that as well as he was accused of doing drugs which he denied and says he has never done drugs, he said he didn’t want to cause problems for monsta X so he left. This was my first comeback w them and first kpop group that made my cold heart cry, when my friend said that was dedicated to monbebes and was like “wow, kpop groups dedicates songs for their fans? this is so cute.” and I was quite emotional. (my friend was introducing me to kpop groups at that time). I was in that kind of period where I couldn’t cry at all or feel any kind of emotion from like 1 year and this song made me feel emotions again. Ok ok… so i think i gOT A THEORY BUT I MIGHT BE WRONG…
So, I see people are saying that minhyuk caused a car crash and kihyun died, and everyone blames him yadda yadda… but what if it's the opposite?? What if instead of kihyun died, he's the only one that survives??
Ok. This sounds crazy, but hear me out. The clips in vid itself is not in order so pay attention.
So it all started with a car crash (0:39). We see glasses broken and a car flipped off a cliff. Then, at 1:03 we see a black and white shot of minhyuk, dragging an unconcious kihyun, puts kihyun on the ground and looks at his own hands. Everybody assumes that kihyun died, and that minhyuk feels guilty. But why did minhyuk walk away at 1:09?? Shouldn't he at least stay? Or maybe he's feeling so much guilt that he can't stand seeing kihyun?
Well here's what I think. The black and white shot was a flashback. What happened right after the car crash. But why only that spesific scene of minhyuk dragging kihyun out is in black and white? Why isn't the car crash shot at 0:39 is black and white too, because it's technically a flashback, right? Well, actually. That shot was a metaphor. That's why minhyuk walked away, because he didn't survive after all. He looks down at his hands, because he didn't want this. He wants to stay, but he can't. And there's that.
At 0:12 we see hyungwon putting blindfold on kihyun. Why? Well, I think that it's also a metaphor. Hyungwon's "spirit" or whatever you wanna call it didn't want kihyun to see/realize what's going on, that the boys are all dead. The reason? Well, I'm thinking hyunwong is afraid that if kihyun "see" (accepts) that they are all dead, kihyun will move on and eventually forgets them. At 0:14 we see kihyun reaching out, trying to feel his surrounding, he then fell to the floor, annoyed. It represents his cluelessness of the death of his friends. But he knows that there's something wrong. At 0:50 and 2:02 kihyun can feel that he is alone in the bottom of a dark cliff, he's feeling lost, but he still didn't realize the ultimate reality yet (that his friends are dead) because the blindfold prevents him to found out about his friends' death, and that's why he can still sense his friends, even though the truth is, it's only their spirits that are there.
At 1:10 we see minhyuk looking regretful and frustrated, bangs the stirring wheel. At 1:17 wonho then realizes minhyuk's presence, and he walk away, looking kind of disappointed. Jooheon then sees wonho, and asks him what's going on. And then after that, we see the cut where jooheon confronts minhyuk in anger and shownu punches minhyuk. After that, kihyun then comes and comforts minhyuk. Other theories suggests that wonho, jooheon and shownu are all blaming minhyuk for kihyun's "death" and that kihyun himself already forgive minhyuk. But what if, it's not what they are angry about. See, at the b/w scene that i talked about earlier, the one that dragged kihyun was minhyuk. That suggests that minhyuk was the last out of all who made contact with kihyun. The others are dead already. Wonho, seeing minhyuk inside the undamaged car felt so disappointed that minhyuk is there. Because that means he's also dead with the rest of them. Jooheon and shownu then also got angry at minhyuk, because how dare he. How dare he followed them and die? Minhyuk was the one that saved kihyun. He should've at least survive with kihyun, but he didn't. That's why jooheon was angry and shownu punched minhyuk. Because they both cared. They wanted minhyuk to survive too, but he didn't, leaving kihyun alone. He too didn't want to die, but he did anyways. Then kihyun approached, comforting minhyuk, still with his blindfold. The truth is, kihyun didn't know anything. As I said earlier, because of the blindfold, he didn't realize that his friends are dead and thus still could sense them. So he can feel minhyuk is sad, albeit not knowing why. That's why he comforted minhyuk, and minyuk broke down, because he is sorry for leaving kihyun and died.
We then see hyungwon and shownu found lightstick(?) at 2:26 and 2:27. To me, that represent memories, of them. The lights that can assure them that kihyun won't forget them. That's why at 2:28 the members woke up, and left kihyun alone, representing that they are ready to move on, and let kihyun face the reality that they are not there for him anymore. But not before they prepare a surprise for him. They took kihyun to a field where they lit the lights for him. All the "memories" of them, surrounding kihyun. Then they let kihyun took off his blindfold, representing that the members now have allowed kihyun to "see" and accepts the truth that the members are all died. The members won't be putting anymore blindfolds to kihyun, because they are assured that he won't need it. He will move on eventually, but he won't forget them. They will always "shine forever" in kihyun's heart.

Well, there are a couple things that doesn't add up tho. Why Hyungwon out of all people that put the blindfold on? Why is the ones that found the first lights were Hyunwong and Shownu? Why the hell didn't I.M got more screentime? And whY IS KIHYUN'S EYES BLUE?! AS FAR AS MY KNOWLEDGE GOES, KOREANS DOESN'T HAVE BLUE EYES SKSJAKJS
so… can I add more theory? What if… this is secretly the continuation of The Clan? Y'all definitely remember that Minhyuk and Hyunwong was the main characters in All In. As we established, Minhyuk was the last one that made contact with Kihyun. What if… besides protecting Kihyun from losing the memories of the members, Hyunwong also want to hide the truth? But he realised that it's not a right thing to do? That's why he's the one that found the lightstick first, because he tried to look for another way? Well, we'll never know hehe…
Also remember that the flower was blue? Probably that explains Kihyun's eyes. Regarding Changkyunnie's little screentime… hmm… if I'm not mistaken, in All In, there's a cut where Kihyun and I.M bump their forheads together and there was a bi flag's colours discreetly painted on Kihyun's cheek… probably he'll be another significant character (if I'm right and this IS a continuation of The Clan)
