There was a combo laundromat bar & grill in Tallahassee when I was a student at FSU back in the 1980s, and when I lived in Seattle in the late '90s through 2001, there was an iconic laundromat/cafe/bar/music venue called Sit & Spin 5 blocks from my apartment. A lot of bands performed there, including The White Stripes, Mudhoney, The Posies, Modest Mouse, and Macklemore (he mentioned Sit & Spin in his song "The Town.")
Me and my wife were discussing how it would be an amazing thing for a small village like the one next to us. It would probably be the busiest place around.
I live in CS and i'm so devastated because Harvey Washbangers burned down last month. It was an accident caused by something left plugged in overnight that shorted out. The family who owns it tried to raise funds to rebuild the building, but they didn't raise enough and had to tear everything down. It won't be re-opening either 😔
@Deekerz1 it was a great place. Really close to the big university here and I know a lot of college kids used their laundry services. The family owns another local restaurant so they'll be OK thankfully, but we probably won't ever get HW back 😢
As a vegas local i can say most of us dont enter the heart attack grill for fear of being spanked because the people outside the restaurant can actually see you at times its like a public execution

I can't help but find it funny how over half of the food presented in the show: the Tomato soup, roasted Potatoe, and Corn on the cob were definitely NOT seen in the Medieval times of Europe. XD
When I was a tiny child, I went to Medieval Times with my parents. I had no idea what was going on, all I knew was that the knight for my side gave me a rose. I think I was stressed out for the other knights too, but my side won so I wasn't as concerned I think lmao (note: I was maybe 4 or 5)

I stopped at Space Aliens on my way up to Canada once. I was looking for food and saw the building and just knew it was where i had to stop. The food was surprisingly good! The place feels like someone just had a silly idea and made it happen, not some corporate nonsense

Space Aliens is such a nostalgia trip. I grew up in Montana and Minnesota and on family road trips we often stopped in Fargo to visit some family. Space Aliens was always a must whenever we were in that area. I'm glad to see it is still going strong with that 90's Pizza Planet aesthetic.

Someone collected that stuff to put there out of genuine love for the idea of aliens for sure. Place was made not to capitalize off of people who love aliens, but as a love letter to aliens. I saw all the stuff on display and knew the food was gonna be good

I remember going to a medieval times when I was 5. Being that age, I didn't really understand too much of what was going on but I had fun. The best part of my day was when one of the knights was in the gift shop and he gave me a foam axe. It still makes me super happy to think about.
As a North Dakota resident who lives about an hour away from Fargo, I have to say its a pretty consistent staple when I visit Fargo, me and my Fiance love going there, favorite menu item is the giant baked potato with bbq pulled pork on top. Love that you liked it!

Chicken tenders used to be called Chicken fingers, but over time restaurants realized tenders sound better so I can't find anywhere that still calls them Chicken fingers

This restaurant I sells chicken fingers, but he told me the reason he calls them chicken fingers and not chicken tenders is because chicken fingers are made with chicken breast cut up into slices then fried but chicken tenders are made from the tenders of chicken

omg harvey washbangers! this was me and my bf's spot to do laundry lol, i'd bring my laptop and watch youtube and get a milkshake. i don't live in cstat anymore, i actually hated it at the time, but seeing harveys in this video made me feel nostalgic for how simple and relaxing my life used to be! thank you!

I remember going to a medieval times when I was 5. Being that age, I didn't really understand too much of what was going on but I had fun. The best part of my day was when one of the knights was in the gift shop and he gave me a foam axe. It still makes me super happy to think about.
Interacting with actors of themed parks (in this case, restaurants), is just so fun
As a North Dakota resident who lives about an hour away from Fargo, I have to say its a pretty consistent staple when I visit Fargo, me and my Fiance love going there, favorite menu item is the giant baked potato with bbq pulled pork on top. Love that you liked it!

Medieval times has a few locations throughout the US and they are honestly so worth it. Not only is the food pretty good but they are so much fun.
As a person who went to medieval times for a field trip I got so glad when I saw you visiting it. Medieval times was amazing

Seeing Space Aliens is loved by not just us in ND but almost everyone who visits is so cool. We have them in Bismarck, Fargo, and Minot. Maybe one more town but I can't remember.

Was my first ever time eating corn on the cob and a chicken drum stick, and ever since that day it’s been one of my favorite foods, what an experience, and the show was fun too.
