Indeed! what some parents do not realize and or refuse to acknowledge is favoritism can be damaging. I know, I went through it, I was the one in the shadow, the only time I was thought of is when they needed something, other than that I was invisible.
Anna was right. She moved on but it was Jess who insist on clinging to the past. Jess could never let go so Anna had to and now Jess has nobody to bully anymore as her dirty past and toxic present has been brought to light.
Yes! That story about the weed & booze was BS if you know your children you have an idea of what they’re doing. Also I think Jess’ father had a lot to do with why the girls were treated so differently.
@5:20 that should be "his words were a BALM" not a bomb one is a salve or something comforting or curing the other is an explosion a horrible thing! a funny mistake none the less! "his words were an explosion" that doesn't sound good does it?
Technically, it is vengeance. However, not in a violent or malicious way. Anna was only setting the record straight about what happened. About the lies and treachery Jess did. Jess tried conveniently to say 'It's in the past' because she didn't want to face the consequences of what she did to Anna. To face how she almost ruined her life because of her own deceit. The mom also faced the consequences of choosing to believe the lies over reason. Again. Anna got revenge by exposing the lies and injustices she suffered. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that.
These type of families are unfortunately very common. The manipulative daughter who is nothing but a freeloader. Unfortunately the parasites this this always comes around for a free ride
What a horrible mother and stepsister Jess is nothing but stright up bully this is what they get.
The mother was the worst because she never supported her daughter and now she’s stuck with a step daughter who will never show gratitude towards her.
What person would put an evil stepchild ahead of their own child then expect them to help them financially in the future?
You’d be surprised
It’s a good thing that my parents love me and my siblings equally and because of that we have generated good karma in our lives.
Favoritism is the worst but I don't care, she made a right choice to cut ties from her evil family and start a new life
What a terrible mother and stepsister! Jess is a witch! My mother says, "You should love your children equally!"

my mom said this but also said and if you don't no one should ever know it! (thank goodness i was an only child!).
Karma bites always dosent come straight away it dose come
Harassment is a crime! Don’t talk to a stalker file charges.
Epilogue: OP finally chose to hear her step-sister out and she learned that the one who planted the drugs and alcohol was her own mother.
My older brother psychologically and physically tortured me until i was 15. He now lives as far away from me as he can because he knows.😊

Yes it is the best way.
We're the two women in Anna's life still toxic? Seems to me that should have given them another chance. Eyes open but willing to build bridges.
These stories are fun if you accept that ‘bomb’ really means ‘balm’. It’s much more emphatic!
