Hi Malcolm. I've been wanting to start this series for a while. I really enjoy Young Adult dystopian horror and so this has been on my radar. Thanks for the review. I recently read Sleepless by Lou Morgan which contained a good amount of gore for a Young Adult horror story and I was surprised at some of the scenes in the Zom b series by Darren Shan. Haven't finished that one yet. I find a lot of older horror sometimes have scenes that I physically cringe at because they come a little near the mark but as of yet I've not come across anything that's really gone to far. Hi Sarah. I've yet to read any of those, but it does seem to me that the level of violence in so-called YA is not all that different to that for adult books. It's just the language and other adult themes are toned down somewhat. Anyway, thanks for a great response. Stay well.
Honestly i loved this book so much as a teen cant wait to revist it
