This really helped me when I was depressed 3 years ago. I took a picture of my wish and now know that my wish has come true, however I've fallen back down and am going to make a new little buddy. Thank you for this idea, it really does help.
Wow, what a beautiful idea! My mom was a children's librarian and could create dolls, clothes, furniture, out of just about anything. When she was very sick, we spent one rainy afternoon making beads. She showed me a little trick: take strips of magazine pages, roll them into bead size tubes, glue the end, and cover it in clear fingernail polish then string them on string. This reminds me of my mother's creative hand and makes me miss her, but in a good way, if that makes sense.
I had a great experience when my mother passed away due to cancer. I made a replica of her in doll form and every family member thought it represented & manifested my mother. I would encourage all concerned to try it atleast once, as a form of healing & therapeutic process
Thankyou dear Margaret what a beautiful therapy to share with others I live in London U.k, do you know where I might buy the little faces for my group.x
I just made this little doll, and she came out charmingly. Very simple and profound. Thanks.

How do men and boys feel about making these dolls? I think it is a great exercise.

This is nice and very helpful, thank you for sharing it.
This is awesome! This could be useful for children who have been taken into protective custody. They suffer a great deal of trauma.
