    Feedback for the host: when the guest makes a point, stop downplaying it by saying "understood. What about...". Give a second for the point to sync in by maybe rephrasing it. Remember your job is to help listeners gain knowledge and not for you to keep jumping around topics.

    Man these people are hyping up random stuff for no reason. AI will not replace SaaS. It will give exponential growth to SaaS businesses now. AI will act as the middle man for a lot of companies.

      Yup
      AI is just Marketing term for their own startup

      People confuse business models with technology. Saas is a biz model. Software is technology. Software gets replaced by AI, but Saas continues.

    You got two Super brains on Gen AI ans started with a brilliant opening challenging SaaS status quo and exploring the future, but the most of the time was spent on what is SaaS and what is an Agent.
    Was it a 101 level conversation or an advanced one? Pick either and this would have been a great episode. Unfortunately going from what is SaaS and also defining the future tech in a single episode was over ambitious to begin with.

    So the most widely used SaaS in our company(20k+ ppl) are Indian alternative to Adobe CC and payroll. Both of these are not going away. I can see most of the corporate having similar structure. For me, this talk just showed how out of touch/ground are these people.

I used to say the same thing as you sometime back and im slowly realising chat gpt is just one facet of what ai can do (it was likely just released to train ai Abby getting us all to use it). @@getdmwyou can define complexity yourself so this makes you argument anecdotal. Even at Faang/maang, ai can hardly contribute. So you stating ai helping you to build 90% says a lot about kind of work you are doing - it's not medium complex.

    Are LLMs capable of reasoning?

    • @123OkHello
      @123OkHello 13 дней назад

      Language models just show facts and write it like a genius.
      They have facts but not know how to reason it.
      In IQ tests, they perform because they deep-learn questions that are asked there.
      Their poems are just full of poetic tools but lack deep meanings that human poets add to it.

    • @getdmw
      @getdmw 13 дней назад

      @@123OkHello deep meanings are just deeper level abstractions by organic LLMs, only a matter of time for machines. Humanity isn't special. It just existed for longer. So will silicon.
