I distinctly remember lacking the ability to mash buttons back then and couldn’t beat the piranha plant boss for like 2 years
I actually remember being stuck on that boss as well lol, though I have no idea how long I was stuck on it

2019 damn, i was a kid when i played this
This game was my whole childhood. When I was younger, I thought Story Mode's Bosses were invincible, so I proceeded toclose on purpose to let bots face bosses, and obviously they lost. Now I can't find my old DS, and I'm sad. I really wanted to play Mario Party DS before moving out.
I think that just brought back a memory, I think I did the same with the Piranha boss, lol. I definitely remember failing at that one SO damn often! Hope you can find that cartridge, the games definitely so good, probably still my favorite ^^
