Very interesting changes! I had the problem where japan flipped to the allies. I was playing germany and didnt know what happened. It only occurred with one playthrough though. Glad that its fixed! On the topic of naval germany: I love the naval aspect of hearts of iron 3 and also tried naval germany couple of times. What I would like is to have the soviet union not attacking when a port of Great Britain is taken. Would be interesting gameplay to try and take Great Britain first and soviet union later. There can be stuff like making soviet union stronger as a result and USA declaring war with germany earlier than Japan would. Maybe something to think about 😊
Just a very, very minor thing, but i noticed it for it for years: In the german tech-tree, the tech Kampfgruppe is missing an g, it is written Kampfruppe there. Haha, sorry for nitpicking, but as a german myself this little thing bugged me for years😅 Thank you for the Q&A though, very appreciated.

Nah. GER player already has lots of freedom. Making it so he can freely attack and defeat ENG without worrying about anything is a bad idea.
@@lukasva77 Those modifiers are gone. And JAP joining allies was just a bug.
Hey I didn't hear it in the video, but are they still requiring Podcat's LAA with version 12?
As of now it's a must. I would also recommend it with vanilla base game
