awesome. I get comments sometimes people saying that don't understand it. I'm like "ahhhh you totally miss the point in collage". Just have FUN! If YOU like it - PERFECT!
Denise, TYVM for showing your collages made with the collage soup books and downloads. I'm new to collage, and have no imagination for how to combine the images cohesively. These are VERY helpful to me. Please continue this series. TYFS Cindy
I never would have thought of cutting along the edge of an image to slip something in behind it. I think that was brilliant! The finished product is just so creative! Thanks for filming so we could all see how it came to be.
Denise, cool collage. Great idea tucking the extra mountain behind the tree, and I love how you cut out the upper poka dots. TFS ... always a fun time at your table. xo
Currently in the hospital for an unexpected visits due to a surprise cancer find. Your videos are some of my favs. I like they you do that in real time. It allows me to feel like I’m cutting and painting and doing the work myself. All I have with me is my big black Dylusions dotted doodle book. May have to get some things here to fussy cut.
@@DeniseLush been collecting some magazines here n there. I just need to get my 'beep' in gear and get my craft stuff outta storage that has all my journaling supplies, but its soo full and unorganized its a nightmare to look at.
@@melodiewhitcraft495 I get it. There's things I want and need to do around here but when I look at how big the task is I become overwhelmed and just don't do it. But, the downfall to that, is it doesn't get done. lol
@@melodiewhitcraft495 I get it. Maybe try making a list of how you feel when you get like that and why. Then make a list or write out how it would feel to break through and do it. How you think you'd feel after. (I should also take my own advice) Also, remember it doesn't have to be all or nothing, everything at once. It can be babysteps. Or 10 minutes here and there.
Everything you had in your collage fit like it was meant to be. I was really hoping you woult cut away the polka dot piece, especially when I saw you were going to gue it to the black page. The black i the corner was a nice balance with the black road. I really like this , Denise (You are coming in loud and clear).
@@DeniseLush you'll need to have a water source but that can be portable too. Like a tank of water someone can help you bring down.. My husband had darkrooms over the years where he had to bring buckets of water from the bathroom to fill a portable tank he had which I still use and to fill his water trays for making prints
I loved when you said collage is supposed to be weird. That really helps me think outside the box!

Thank you so much! Glad you got something from the video that helped!
Never saw anyone “nip and tuck” their collage and it’s brilliant! 👍🏼😍
Thank you. Way better than fussy cutting. lol
Love that bulldog, fabulous collage, thank you for sharing Denise
Me too! I love Bulldogs. All of them. I want to smooth them all❤️

I think collage more so than realistic art is very much individual taste.
oh definitely.

I enjoy watching and am always taking it all in. I have not tried collage but man you got me itching too even more than I was before 😅

What kind of glue stick are you using.

Thanks so much. Yes, once I saw that corner against the black, I just had to do it.
You mention Crow??? Something studios. Can you please give me correct spelling. Thankyou
Crow About Studios but that's when there was a website called Mischief Circus that sold lots and lots of collage. It no longer exists.
Thanks so much
I like the elephant and balloon covering that white thing that makes no sense at all to me.
Anything rarely makes sense in collage! That's the fun of it!
Get a portable sink.
a portable sink!!!! I have to look into this!
