Hey thanks a bunch man. I have used tubes and made slingshots for 20yrs hunting rabbits. I use marbles and ten mm tubes.
Ive recently made dad a new slingshot that looks more like a ruger pistol(ww2) era. And 4x ten mm 3/8" tubes. Pure grunt.
Only this week ive been so frustrated getting tubes that bog that arent extruded latex. So i converted my slingshit to 4x 1mm bands. Cant layer the bands or the speed drops due to internal friction. So at the post ends in stacked them ontop of eachother like a fence. Or box. And the speed is so diferent than tubes. Tubes hav pull power. Bands are so so much more my style!??? Instant speed! From 27feet i put a marble thru two woolen blankets and an empty can(full is cheating). Those utube cheaters. Empty shows speed else youl get a dent instead of a hole. Dents show mass; holes show speed.
Thanks so much for this vid cos nobody shows u this stuff they seem to skip it.

Great band attachment method👍🏻. I like it better than wrap and tuck. Great video brother, always wondered how you attached them. Enjoyed it 🙂👊

Thanks K.O.S.! The first frame I bought from SS was called the Peerless. It was slotted like that along with the first one I made after watching GKJ make a slot match stick method from a natural fork and I've been using it on most of the frames I make ever since. I'll post a video of Nathan and the peerless video. He orients the bands little different than I do but mostly the same principal.

Here's Nathan Masters demonstrating this method in a similar fashion. This was also the first frame I purchased from Simple Shot. ruclips.net/video/2BIbEOLhBCc/видео.html

Have you tried the SLOT method of band attachment for an OTT configuration?

Per usual safety glasses should be worn at all times no matter what attachment you're using.
