SHINee 샤이니 JUICE - OT5 remix

I really wanted to try doing something with JUICE because it felt like more of a creative challenge to make an OT5 version for this song. Plus it's one of my favorites on the album.
I ended up using a few OT5 SHINee tracks and a couple Jonghyun solo tracks and also rearranging some of the parts in JUICE. For everyone who pays attention to lyrics, you know I always try to make that part work too. I had a lot of fun making it but now my brain just hears the song differently. Can anyone guess all the songs? I feel like its harder to recognize them out of context but some of you really know your SHINee.
I've been busier in general lately so less time to make these unfortunately but let me know if you hear any combinations that sound good in your mind - I'm always open to suggestions.

I was just thinking about this recently, wondering what newer shinee songs would sound like with jjong and ai is definitely NOT the answer to that. Instead, mashups like these are made with love and care and respect for their artistry and I know you believe that the lyrical story is very important! I really love how you pull together elements from different shinee and solo songs to show a new side that's more than the sum of its parts 💎💎💎💎💎

Thank you Natasha. Sometimes I feel silly trying to make the lyrics work alongside everything else so I'm glad you appreciate that! I know the ai covers/versions that have cropped up recently are super polarizing. Some people are moved by them and some think they are morally bankrupt and totally disrespectful. I wish I had a coherent opinion. I did listen to bits of them and the more well made ones send me off an existential cliff to the point where I felt out of my emotional and intellectual depth. I don't know if that makes sense. maybe i'm being extra (i am) but the fact that it exists makes me feel insane (not in a cool way)

@@SuncloudMashups I think it's understandable to want to hear jjong's voice on new melodies and lyrics, but AI cannot encapsulate the artistry and thought and intention that all the shinee members put into their music. The real details of what makes shinee so great is their contributions to artistic direction, music production, and the way they deliver the lines and adlibs. AI just puts jjong's tone over other members' singing and that doesn't really honour any of them. So I have more respect and appreciation for you meticulously finding patterns and possibilities within the work that the members have actually done and creating beautiful and meaningful music 💙🙏🏼

Thank you for keeping on with your mashups. I listened to some AI covers and sure it was well made but... idk, it really disturbed me to the point I almost hated it. I know shawols who do such mashups have no bad intentions and do not think AI could replace his actual voice, but when you take a look on the situation, that's exactly what's happening-- shawols find comfort in some imitations of his voice, so basically it's as if it filled the void he left, as if we did find a way to "replace" his unique voice. Call me old-fashioned, but I hate how an AI can just suddenly imitate the voice he's been working on for so long and so hard.
What I like about your mashups is that it doesn't feel like this. Even though it's a mashup, and even if the transitions can be a bit weird (it's not the case in your mashups tho, it's awesome, well-made and so creative!!), it's still his actual voice, his actual songs, his actual lyrics, his actual work and choices. It feels more SHINee-like and even if we end up hearing his same songs over and over again, imo it's still a better and healthier way to remember that OT5 feeling.
Hope you'll find a way to do an OT5 version of The Feeling, Satellite or Gravity? Some of their high notes sound quite Jonghyun-like!

I love mashup more than AI, as Jonghyun’s style is unique. AI only replace the voice, not the style Jonghyun would’ve chosen. Btw, could you make a mashup of “The Feeling” and “Beautiful”?
