12 years later…what an awesome lesson. Don’t understand a word, but very clearly demonstrated. Thanks for putting the time in on this. Best in my opinion!
He is indeed speaking the language of Rock. I was too lazy to find a tab, and I just found this video, now i can play all of this. He is so good you don't need to understand what he's saying
I really like the format where each phrase/lick is numbered. Very handy for finding it later in the vid. One minor error I did spot though (or at least everyone else plays it slightly differently) is at the start of lick 4. The double note stop should be fret 7 on both the G and B strings (I think). Apart from that the tone and feel is spot on. Very nicely played.
Grymt bra. Jag fastnar på Lick 2, för pull-offen är så svår att göra. Alltså, svårt att synka pull-offen med att INTE plocka strängen. Får lära mig resten först =) Tack!
Nä, nu satt den. Det är fantastiskt vad en dags väntan kan göra. Man övar som en galning en dag och får inte till det, sen nästa dag när man sätter sig så är det som att man har övat i sömnen =)
Hey, Mr. Hero and to all sucks who have taken your time to leave negative comments. You don't have to understand a single word if you have half a fuckin' brain. Music is a universal language, and this guy has taken his time to instruct those who are interested in learning. And so fuckin' what if it may not be the exact solo. Some people are so arrogant and just have no imagination.
Thanks for posting this lesson, It's a great stuff. If someone can't play it based on this swedish video, than the problem is whit the guitar skills, not with the language... Anyway, unfortunately few notes are wrong, Angus plays 3 licks a little bit different...
who after watching this video typed in on you tube.First " how to speak Norwegian" then afterwards searched "how to be a legend like this dude" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great video man, great sound and good guitar! :D though 3 of the licks you play are very different to what Angus plays. Great try though man! Keep rockin.
When you play metal obviously. Wait. Are you one of those people who can't tell the difference between (hard) Rock and Metal? Ok. I'm here to help! When you remove the blues or use a flattened 5th, like in the song Black Sabbath, you have Metal. But when you play bluesy leady directly derived from Chuck Berry, you have Rock. The Who invented loud and hard style rock. But they were never metal. Not even close. There is a difference.
Sounds like crap with all that delay. Also, even though he's playing the solo almost note for note, he's playing it the way a metal head would play it, and not a rock guitarists would. Which makes it sound like shit!

Don't need to understand any words. His lesson is fantastic and easy to follow. Thank you!
