Thanks for watching! We've been so lucky with the weather during our winter filming so far this year. Of course, Lyme Regis looks beautiful in any weather!

Very brave being below those cliffs. Glad you had some success. Suggest you also do a visit to Kimmeridge sometime.

Thanks Lisa! We made sure we kept a safe distance from the cliffs at all time, and the settled weather meant that there hadn't been any significant rock falls for a while. We'd love to do a film all about Kimmeridge, as there's plenty to see and do. Keep an eye out for that on our channel soon...

Ahahahaha I remember the ruse but look at what you've found this time! The size of the one in the wall; didn't know they grew that big.

We couldn’t go on any longer living a lie, so we had to find one for real! You get some amazing fossils on this stretch of the coastline and we will be keeping our eyes peeled for more of them next time we’re down there. Thank you for watching and commenting!

Happy to see you both and happy to know you’ve actually found un-purchased ammonite 👍. Since your family of ammonite are quite small, I’m sending along a tip so you can purchase an equally small display case 😂. Loved the episode, and a bit of news, we’re coming to Lyme Regis by way of Mapperton next October 😮 and will use your fossil hunting tips for sure!

I love a good hunt. I live in the states 10 minutes from the Chesapeake Bay, I hunt Indian arrowheads. I did find one some yrs ago that is pretty rare. I have found some really nice china and pottery shards as well. Must say, there's really nothing like being on the beach, even if I don't find a thing.

That is awesome, Wende! We agere, you can't beat walking along a beach. We've always lived near to the sea and think there's a good reason for that...
