Lots of meter baiter shops out there. Clean and mean is the only way to go. Modulation pattern stability matters. Seen this happen in the mid 1990s especially with the Galaxy Saturn Turbos and the RCi 2290s base radios. All the radios were setup for AM use only. Limiter was clipped and power was turned up to 200 watts. Power supplies were maxed out and radios were just screaming scatter splatter boxes. Thanks to guys like you I never went down that road with any of my radios. Thanks. High five ✋️

That was a awesome vid. I have a AT 6666 in transit, looking forward to it. Brand new, factory not touched. Gonna stay that way. Any changes via the menu. No clipping allowed lol. Enjoy listening to you talk at your desk, solid. The At 6666 is a good radio as long as nobody screws with it. Have a great day Brother

My quad six came under modulated. But it also only had a 15 watt carrier. So I bumped up the modulation and laft it alone. The ssb needed a little cleaning up but still hits almost 70 watts clean. On sideband, its not the ssb ph to clean it up, its the anl. ammod is microphone sensitivity. Am anl is modulation.

He’s new to it all and wanted him to not get frustrated the first time he gave the VFO a spin and got him sorts of caddywhompus on his freq. That’s the only thing I don’t like about the Lincoln, although I’m used to it now, just about ever other CB on the planet changes channels by turning the knob.
