The plush toy at 12:03 is called Ebi-fry, meaning fried shrimp in Japanese! It’s backstory is that it’s the tail end of a shrimp that no one wants to eat :( it also has a fried pork friend which is made up of the greasy part of battered pork that no one wants to eat, they’re from the sumikkogurashi line by San-x, the makers of all sorts of cute characters :)))
