Wardens chronicles the lives of Conservation Officers in America. The show features the men and women who protect public lands, from ride-alongs on interstate game checks, to anti-poaching sting operations; from remote snowmobile trails in grizzly bear country, to unforgiving white-water rapids. While the focus of Wardens is enforcement of regulations, the show takes special precautions to ensure the general public understand those who would violate the rules are the minority and the vast majority of encounters with our Wardens are law-abiding citizens.

The problem is that fishing without a license is a bad deal, so the state pays for fish to be stocked. it costs money. It don't cast much to get a fishing license n specially in the place like Montana, there is so many places where ppl can go fish n be on the water. However, the guys r Wright the law enforcement is always about money. I've always gotten my fishing n small game license even though I haven't hunt yet, just to support the fishing n small game n bird community. Good luck to everyone. God bless us all.

Its because a dui arrest will require a court date…theres not enough resources to show up to cases…so…they take the low,hanging fruit with minor infractions figuring people wont fight them…

I don't understand the it's ok to be drinking while boating causing rescues but heaven for bid you don't have a fishing license.

As someone that has been on some dangerous water for 25 years, it amazes me that there are so many people out there in rafts without jackets, helmets and don’t have their gear and coolers secured.
What is the matter with people?? Death wish?
During our boat operator course for USFWS, we get thrown in the water with our waders on and have to swim back to shore. It isn't really that hard unless you're a poor swimmer.

As the day breaks over the mountains, Ranger Stiff starts his day at work. As he stands glassing over a parking lot, he sees what looks to be a family of four and decides to investigate. Well, good morning, good citizens, I'm Ranger Stiff! Have you been here all nite? No! We just pulled in to watch the sunrise. I see...Do you have your sunrise permit handy? SUNRISE PERMIT?? No, I didn't know I needed one!! Oh, yes, you do! Good citizen. While I'm checking your Camp sight, I see you don't have a camping sticker on your car! WHAT CAMP SIGHT? I said we just pulled in to watch the sunrise!! So that will be No Sunrise and no Camping permit violation today!

Well, they sure taught that 12yr old boy a life lesson. It's ok to drive a boat at night without a license and drunk. Now he knows dad isn't a drunk and didn't break any alcohol laws on the water. But by god if you don't have a fishing license, your almost a criminal.

LOL Guy has a dog and is solo rafting looking at people like bruh. I met a game warden here in Canada on my fishing kayak returning to shore. I showed him my license, told him it was a good day fishing, just catch and release, and he's like what are you missing? The kayak is an unsinkable floating device so I thought I had a life preserver. Didn't know I needed a tow rope seeing as its a paddle kayak... Missing whistle. So all in all I answered with oh I'm sorry im also a professional swimmer I thought this was toy almost. He liked my answers. I was honest 100% and he said you know how much the fine is.... 250 dollars... Go buy these things and yeah. So I spent 150 bucks on the nicest life jacket I could find, tow rope/ flash light/ better whistle. The man was doing his job, he made my day. I made his. Now im getting my pleasure craft license. So know the rules before you go out in your zones. Don't think your aqua man, it wont save your bank. Your license pays for fisheries to stay functioning and wages + other things.

It is all bout money. Lol. Fishing should be a right. Regulation on the amount of fish u can keep should happen so preserve the wildlife but to say u have to pay way more than fishing liscence in the first place is rediculous.
So who pays for the lakes to be stocked? Who pays for the conservation efforts? Oh I forgot… You liberals think everything is free.

It’s a big deal. Fishing license fees directly go to restocking lakes and rivers with fish. Without that money the fish don’t get stocked and there’s no more fish to catch

The warden that stopped the four fishermen near the beginning. When taught to deescalate a situation, why does he have to talk to them like their idiots? Just because they are does mean you have to talk in a manner which makes them look and feel like an idiot! Sorry, I think most people (wardens) could come across a little nicer and don’t demean someone.
