Great ship tour! I was hoping for an actual review, as I was planning on booking with Explora, but I have read the food and service are very sub-par, along MSC food and service quality levels, which is a hard pass for this price point.
Hello, thanks for the tour - sees to be a great ship. I have a question about the noise and music. On the Celebrity Edge class, the music is very loud everywhere. You can hear the party music and daytime entertainment 3 decks below the pool deck, even in your cabin. You can also hear the conversations and music from the restaurant terrace from 5 decks below. I don’t know the location of your cabin, but could you hear music and noise from the pool or buffet restaurant (e.g. chairs being moved, footsteps, etc.)? On deck 5 are the terraces of two restaurants and the cafe crema. What about the noise here (clinking cutlery, conversations, music,...)? As I get seasick in heavy swell, I have to stay on board midship. Do you have any advice for me as to which cabins are the quietest (Ocean Terrace or Penthouse Suite) and where there is no stench from cigarette smoke or the fireplace? I thought deck 8 would be good, than I would have two decks under and above with cabins. Thanks in advance
Thank you for your message and thanks for following us. Explore journeys is a very quiet vessel I would suggest a cabin mid ship. The ship is very stable. You won't have any issues. Are you considering the Caribbean
That Rolex store at 11:50 is very curious since there is no Rolex store in the world where you can just walk in and buy a new Rolex men's steel sportswatch at the retail price. Typically there's a wait list that's years long. If that were the case, then I could buy such a watch at retail and resell it for 50% more, or even 100% more depending on the model. The arbitrage you can make on such watches could be $10,000 and pay for your cruise. What I suspect at this store is a lot of small women's watches which are in greater supply and don't command high prices on the pre-owned market.
Thanks for making this review and in doing so it clearly shows it’s not for me .What Ive seen the decor is really nice but it takes more than decor to make a cruise which is something I’ve learned on my 100 cruises on luxury ships since the fifties. If I want shop’s I’ll go to my local shopping centre .Where is the main dining-room which I can visit most nights when I don’t want to eat in a small restaurant or be told I can only eat at that restaurant once or twice in a voyage .Or have to book in advance who knows where I want to eat and what . No big headline shows Ha .Where can I smoke my Cuban cigar at night .? Just returned from a 18 day trip on Silversea Silver Nova and it was the same Idea nice ship but menus and food is not up to the old Silversea standard by a mile .No thanks Regent are now the only cruise line that still maintains the traditional ship’s dining room .If they change then I’ve seen the best days of cruising and I’ll pick a difference vacation. It’s now the age of luxury BS .
I went on this last October for 2 weeks. There is an a la carte type eating area - mostly used for lunch and breakfast but you could do dinner there too. Though I don't think I did. Only 2 restaurants were "limited" - the other two, you just showed up. The food variety was great. There is a whiskey bar with a cigar vault. It was an absolutely fantastic cruise. I'm going again on the Explora 2 next Jan!
I am thinking booking Explora 11 for a cruise next Summer. In te med,With all the good reviews regarding the food I hope it is? Went on a Silver Seas cruise a few weeks ago,the poor quality of food ,badly cooked, the wines plonk. All the hype,I'd rather eaten at my local cafe.
@@raymondlyons1160 I can't compare with Silver Seas (haven't been) but I can absolutely recommend the dining on Explora. The wines that are included are limited somewhat but I found ones I liked. The ability to play with the mixed drinks was quite fun since it was included and they had top shelf liquors.
What an amazing video on the Explora 1. We are due to set sail in February and I am so excited. Thank you for the preview!!
You will love it. Very jealous!! Enjoy
Wow really nice presentation. What a ship!
Thank you Tony. Truly appreciate it. Hope we can meet in the near future
Looking forward to sailing this beautiful ship next week.
Have fun!
I’m sure I speak for most - we all want to be “Bill” the GOAT of the sea
You are too kind

Food is excellent… You cannot go wrong with Explora
MSC is about a 3 next to RCI

Enjoy you will love it and thank you for subscribing
Looking forward to my cruise. Happy holidays👍@@CruiseandTravelBP

When I sailed the inventory was impressive . Yes the only Rolex Boutique at Sea ...

No Main Dining Room on Explora ships. Pass.
What's good about main dining room?
Then you're missing out. Each restaurant is really good. You could eat in the main a la carte place (where I went for lunch & breakfast often).
