I agree to the extent, passing driving exam in US is a joke and it shows on the road. But most high-end modern cars have features like collision warnings, lane departure assistance, blindspot monitoring, etc. Since we have to play the cards we were dealt - having braindead drivers without common sense on the road, I’d rather them have these types of assists. The guy in the commercial doesn’t help the case either. They could’ve shown an example where it saves him from the collision when someone tries to pull off the insurance scam or something. But instead they are showing a dude who suddenly decides to adjust his fucking temperature dial while approaching the intersection with the yield sign , and the car with the right of the way flying past him. So, obviously they are pedaling this product to people who have an attention span of a squirrel. In my humble opinion, these kind of people deserve being brake-checked and should be bullied of the road, if DMV can’t prevent them from getting there in the first place.
I like the GOFAR and I like the FOBO Tire, I have a 2019 Toyota Camry which already has back up and lane assist. The only thing I'm concerned about with the FOBO is that it's exposed to passer biers with sticky fingers. And it's $159... But keeping track of your tire pressure via an app, that's cool.
