A woman getting an abortion has to live with the fact that she is killing her child. This does not go well for the individual. My aunt worked for a hospital as a candy stripe while in high school. She went home sick multiple times after sitting with girls who had abortions who could not handle their decision after the operation was done. She stated that if the female population was informed about what takes place after an abortion; most women would never have them because of the trauma and issues that come with the procedure.

There was a case here in Brazil where a little 11 year old girl was raped, she went to the hospital with the help of the government to have an abortion, many activists tried to enter the room trying to stop the abortion process... I was disgusted.... They wanted a little girl to have a child from a rape...

You know what's more disgusting? People who use stories like this to justify the other 95% types of abortions (Down syndrome, career, free living, not ready, one night stand, no boyfriend, etc.).

I know a friend who commited suicide when she was 18 because she didn't have that choice and she couldn't tell her parents because they will either kick her out of their house or they will stop her study and force her to marry someone, most probably because they were conservative parents and her boyfriend also left her after he knew she is pregnant ,he was 24, so reality is very different than you think, and giving people choice can really save them
A baby has its own body its not the womans body its in a woman body. A body is a phisical structure including organs, bones and flesh. Science is a wonderful thing, let's not ignore it for stupidity.

My sister who had her son last year was pressured time and time again by so called doctors to terminate her pregnancy. Her son was suspected of either having downs or Edwards syndrome! And the pictures are offensive to look at, not because of the foetus, but because it's a graphic image. If you blew up a giant picture of a brain being operated upon, it would be hard to look at and cause offence. The same can be said for any surgical procedure.

+ClarkKasheta Up until a certain time in gestation the fetus is NOT a human BEING. Key word is BEING. Yes a fetus is human, just like a tumor in someone's brain is human. It contains human DNA and has living growing cells. But that fetus, up until a certain point are not developed enough to feel pain or have enough nervous connectivity to have a working brain that is capable of a consciousness. Abortion is illegal by the time it has become a conscious sentient being unless that baby is going to die anyway and kill the mother in the process and in that case they have a procedure that stops the heart of the baby before it is aborted as to avoid pain. I hate when people say that abortion is 'killing innocent babies' because a fetus is neither innocent nor is it guilty and its not a fucking baby yet. Some people actually believe a fertilized egg is equivalent to a baby and in that case I feel sorry for their children. Or they say 'no one asked the baby if they want to be aborted' and its like, ya because a fetus cannot give consent because it has no concept of life or anything. If it is aborted it doesn't even know about it. For the people who are against abortion because of religion (which in my mind is disgusting to use a religion beliefs to impose law or how someone lives) then I don't understand why they are so caught up with the physical world, wouldn't it be better to let the 'babies' stay in heaven instead of this cruel, apparently sin filled world?! It's just ridiculous. The only people against abortion are either genuinely stupid who have no concept of fetal development & how it works, or they are religiously motivated and choose to stay willfully ignorant while using a book full of contradictions & scientifically impossible things that was written by men of that time. I would say that it depends on how developed the fetus is as to how much you can classify it as a comparable life to a child . Do you agree that its worse to terminate a fetus at 8.5 months than it is to take the morning after pill. And is it worse to kill a 3 year old child or take the morning after pill, I personally believe that murdering a child is much worse than taking the morning after pill. You see the issue is that using the word life for both contexts is words play and done purposely to conflate the generally understood definition of life in common language with the biological definition of when 'life' begins. There is no such thing as a child in the womb.

I love this woman. She is saying it how it is. They protest directly outside clinics and surgeries just to cause distress. Go and lobby Parliament, go and stand in your town centre. Stop harassing people accessing medical advice and treatment.
No, that’s not true. You, like her are ascribing an intention which they don’t hold. And just like her, just saying that doesn’t make it true.
It’s not about frightening or intimidating women. It’s about waking them up to the reality of what they are about to do. Which many in distress don’t fully realise. Understandably. Women often suffer immense personal trauma from abortion which is buried and comes back to bite them later.
Wether you think abortion is ok, or not ok, women don’t choose abortions because they are fun/easy and you wouldn’t give one as a gift. Pro choice think abortions are the lesser of two evils and pro life think that keeping the child (followed by possible adoptions etc) is the lesser of two evils. Neither of those is ideal clearly.
That doctor and those people both genuinely want to help the women involved.
It’s debatable wether or not doctor cares about the unborn children. But they both care about the women. Only one group care about both.

That's simply not true! There are many prolife groups in the US that conduct themselves with grace. There's Jeff Durbins apologia church that does wonderful work both in front of the clinics and in helping women after they decide to keep their babies.

Basically she was just talking over them the whole time.
She's speaking out to protect her practice, and the patients who go there with the same expectation of privacy as the patients of a urology clinic.
These particular patients are in a vulnerable state and have the right to expect that no one will confront and harass them for political or religious reasons--they're not lawmakers and they're not priests.
If this group's intention is to "educate" women, they need to do so in an educational setting without pretending the women seeking abortions are doing so out of ignorance. I can assure you that women do not decide to terminate a pregnancy because they don't know what the stages of fetal development look like when enlarged on posterboard.
The protesters had ample time to explain why they were demonstrating at the entrance of the clinic if it was for some reason other than to shame and harass patients. If they truly believe that abortion is murder (because life begins at conception) they should be protesting at fertility clinics where countless embryos are destroyed every day.
Why aren't they? Because that isn't what they believe. They believe women should not have the same bodily autonomy and sexual freedom as men.
