- New City Folk highlights from late fall and early winter (2023-4). Tom and Gabi stand together oddly while wearing matching outfits, Roscoe makes me kill a gold rose (and pays the price), I get a bunny shirt for Gabi (and then later I buy a bunny hood to mess with her), I get the New Year's shirt for 2024 (Year of the Dragon), I encounter Wisp for the first time in years, I hit a new savings milestone, and more. This is my latest collection of funny and interesting moments in Animal Crossing: City Folk for Nintendo Wii, along with my thoughts and puns in on-screen text. Clips are from December 2023 through February 2024.

One small correction: I said I hadn't seen Wisp since 2019, but I actually did see him once in 2020 (when speaking with Tom froze Wisp's animation, which was in City Folk Moments #11).

@@thisemptyworm4677 Agreed. I'm not really into New Horizons. I play New Leaf and Wild World and both of those games are so fun to me. City Folk looks fun and I really want to give it a try.
Same, I love City Folk.
For some reason, I don't find the same joy playing New Leaf, nor New Horizons, idk why. I still think City Folk is by far superior, mainly because the way it makes me feel
@@thisemptyworm4677 yeah i agree. I don't really know why like feature wise city folk might be a bit underwhelming but i still love it it was my first AC game also those graphics are just so nostalgic and amazing

That’s a Wendell design right? I want to make a path but I’m kinda appearance focused and I’ve been procrastinating it forever. The grass deterioration in City Folk is a pain, but it’s the only entree in the franchise that is sustainable for me, personally.
Yes, the path I use is made up of patterns from Wendell.
Did you add the sound at 3:34 or did the game somehow do that? I know I’ve poured water over cliffs before and don’t remember that sound at all lol

Yeah, I added in the sound effect of a straw slurping. Even though his snout didn't line up quite perfectly with the water.

My capture equipment only works with systems that have video outputs (for displaying on a TV, normally) and I don't have a 3DS-specific capture device.
Would be great if you could give the designs to your city folk paths!
They are designs from Wendell for giving him certain fish. (Except for the 3-way intersection pieces, which I edited myself.)

All-time, probably Super Mario Bros. 3. As for current/recent games, I'd say Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Playing that a lot lately.

Flowers help it regrow faster, but the main thing is to not walk on it. I recommend making paths and sticking to them as much as possible.
