Over the years, there have been some laughably weak main characters starring in video games, characters who you're almost embarrassed to be controlling. In this series, I'll show footage of these characters' greatest feats of "power". Wario and Kirby need not apply.
Today's featured character is from the Adventures of Lolo series.

Which is also a fairly weak boss if you ask me, specially in super star where you can use crash against them.
I don't think lolo's universe and kirby's universe are connected, it's more of a reference, which also explains why they are villains in the kirby universe

@@kimi1522 Hal Lab made both games. Hal loves referencing other games they made in Kirby. That’s why ESP is heavily based off of Ness, Master Hand and Crazy Hand appear as bosses in Amazing Mirror along with the Smash Bros. Ability, There are enemies in Super Star known as Moto Shotzo’s which come from a HAL game know as Trax, and Hyper Zone is the name of a HAL game as well, before it was reused for the final area in Dreamland 3

Ironically, the final game of this series on the NES was released one year before Kirby's Dream Land (Their first appearance in a Kirby game). But considering the fact that Lololo and Lalala are technically depicted as one person split in two in the Animated Series, then we have some canon up in here.

For some reason, as little kid, i found adventure of Lolo rather disturbing at times.
Enemies that block your way forever, run after you, shoot you on sight making a scary face, etc.
Hell, even the little snakes are a little unsettling, what with them staring at you constantly with that unchanging smile.
Maybe the Egger is not such a bad guy - look how comfy Lala's bed is! :D

I felt certain you were going to be talking about Lolo as one of the weakest characters, but considering the mostly harmless Lolo easily beats the great devil, I can easily see why The Great Devil is the weakest.
personally i think it's less of being actually weak, and not resisting some sort of "egg" status
By the way, as far as I know, Great Devil/King Egger isn't that threatening in the other Lolo games, either. In one of them, you defeat him in a Dragon Quest-style parody by..tickling him. Seriously. And in the Famicom Eggerland, you defeat him..in a rock-paper-scissors/janken match. What is this, Alex Kidd? He's so pathetic that maybe his additional defeats are worth including an an extra video at some point.

did you know that lolo and lala come back in the Kirby series as lololo and lalala, and then in the Kirby tv show as fololo and falala? also their real versions in the show was fofa which has the same amount of letters as lolo and lala? I thought that last one was just something fun to point out.

Max Burg well, it depends on what you consider ''action''. Gameplay-wise, it's basically puzzles, but that doesn't mean there can't be some bombs and bullets in the mix. If you mean throwing actual projectiles/hits then you're right. But at least the former counts as action in my book :P
There are some action-oriented levels in Lolo/Eggerland though, for instance the one in in Eggerland MNF with 10 rockys (the grey guys that push you around), and another one with about 8~12 skulls/almas where you just have to wait for an opening and run straight to the key

I didn’t know these buggers got their own game. I just remember them as that one boss you cheese with the crash bomber provided to you RIGHT BEFORE THE ENCOUNTER. WHAT WERE THEY SMOKING WHEN THEY MADE THAT GAME DESIGN DECISION?!

The big squid in The Legendary Starfy was a weak boss. You can literally just use the Star Spin from left to right over and over and you win. It only takes about 15 seconds to beat him. Granted he is the 1st boss, but that's still pathetic. You CAN take damage, but if you're consistent, only about 1 heart will be taken away at say, THE MAXIMUM.

The way the devs did the Great Devil's boss fight in the third game is the way they should have done his boss fight in the first one, and THEN go on from there!

A Game Starring A Kirby Character Before Kirby Existed? Seems Legit. Overall, This Game Does Need More Support, For A Thing Made By HAL Before Kirby's Existence, This Game Needs A Remake On The 3DS Or Switch.

In Might & Magic V: Darkside of XEEN the main villain is also defeated in a cutscene, though the plot does involve getting something that can defeat the villain.

The only thing the great devil did right is to capture Lala (or Lolo) and get stronger from each game. But hes still pathetic never the less. One quick note, those medusa heads gave me nightmares.

I can get through the game, but the collectibles... I can never manage to get to the true final boss. On the ONE I did get all collectibles on, Return to Dreamland, I could never beat the challenges. But yeah, Squeak Squad is easy. Even I know that, and I never played it.

The final boss from fe 6 is very weak. She dies to one hit from from Roy which is in my eyes VERY pathetic. Even soldiers doesn't do this, with some bad luck i admit but still.
