I've gone through many boring repetitive tutorials, but this channel has opened up a whole new level of possibilities in Photoshop. Totally subscribing
You always achieve the most impressive effects with just the standard PS filters, and in most cases with a non-destructive work flow, just mind blowing 🤯 Congrats!! thanks for share your secrets 👍❤️
Genuinely mind blowing! In all my design/illustrative years, I've never thought this way. I do love the methodical practice of stippling manually, but it is obviously very time-consuming.
Thank you so much. Your videos are extremely helpful to me. Currently saving up money to be able to donate to you. You really deserve it for the straight forward and interesting content.
Ah that's very kind of you. I really like the format of having everything free and people can chip in when and how they can... glad it's been helpful either way!
Thank you for pushing the boundries. You look at filters and effects in a totally different and unique way. As always your videos are educational and interesting. Best!
Mate... every damn video from you is mind blowing! I use Photoshop quite a long time too and i thought i know quite a lot of tricks but damn, i learn so much from you, its insane! I really appreciate all of your content! Liked, subbed, clicked the bell :)
your lessons are engaging and mind blowing... Those sun rays required a bit of thinking. 8 bit is a good starting point. the filter gallery only works on 8 bit images. Image => Mode=> 8bits In the end, turn the layer into a smart object. I find keep the file as a smart object allowed me ti transform and move the sun set | rise accordingly. I like having the background as a transparent. When using the gradient, make sure the gradient is black and white; then, set the foreground colours back to black and white by pressing "D". Shift + click and drag to keep the line for the gradient straight/ flat, if you want to have a flat horizon.
I would love to see a tutorial that turns images into those classic thatched/line shading sketches that you see in old books and things (think how MC Escher drew his famous “Relativity” drawing if i didn’t explain it well enough). That would be really handy for the style I’m going for in my work.
How do you come up with these ideas? like, do you experiment t yourself or do you get the information from somewhere?... Haha i would never be able to just figure out these things myself
very nice, I am kinda new to the PS so just a question, when you turn an image into a smart object PS doesn't allow to add the adjustment layer ( done at 2.22 in the video) can someone help me how to solve this one
for some reason when i add noise nd set blending to hardmix the hardmix doesnt get displayed, when i go back to the smartfilter it still looks hw it looks with no smart filter
This was an awesome tutorial! Where did you find an image of a skull ? I have been hunting for a wile to find a decent photo on all the free stock sites to no avail.
Agreed! I try to use only free stock stuff in the tutorials, but could not find anything good either. I think I just grabbed this from a google search, it's a museum replica skull if I remember right....
For sure, I like the idea of being able to target the B&W that way... That RGB to CMYK conversion isn't quite as intuitive for me as HSL, but it would totally work!
Ha I know, a compositing tutorial is looming over me... I've gotta figure out some specific angle to attack it from - such a broad subject. Noted though!
Hopefully... So the dots are working, but they're all black and no color? If so, you should be able to switch off that very first Hue Sat to get the color back.... Or is the problem something different?
"it's a stipple effect" Oh yeah that's kinda cool. Don't love that style personally though... "it's all done through live effects on a smart object" 👁️👄👁️
Cool look... For that kind of thing, it might be worth checking out Blender... It's free and you can do some awesome 3d environments like that. I think the Photoshopping in that image is pretty minimal, mostly just cutting and lasting things into that cool environment!
How, just how, hasn't the algorithm picked up this channel. This is a GEM

It has
You sir are a mad scientist. I've never in my 15+ years of using photoshop seen anyone use it the way you do. Respect!
Cheers, thanks! Trying to figure out how to get Photoshop to do my taxes... the madness may be setting in
@@Texturelabs Haha I wouldn't be surprised if you actually find a way to do that. A video of it would be nice once you figure it out lol
@@Texturelabs - You can! Put random numbers in the fields then blur it a lot.
I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again, I am so glad I found your channel!
Awesome, glad to have you here as always!

Congrats!! thanks for share your secrets 👍❤️
Cool, that's always the goal! I really enjoy trying to figure out new techniques for this stuff - it's like a little brain puzzle. Thanks!
The way you just stack filter adjustments to create a totally different effect is mindblowing
I've been working with photoshop every day for the past 15 years and MY MIND IS BLOWN by each video. Thanks man.
This is by far the best Photoshop tutorial channel I've come across since blue lightning tv
I've always been a fan of Marty too!
This is some GOD LEVEL PHOTOSHOP! 🔥🔥🔥
It's like watching a builder crafitng a piece of art using nails. Totally unexpected use of Photoshop! That's a 10 for me. Well, WELL done! Bravo!
Nice! Very kind, very kind.
The way your dropped that Owl in there blew my mind, I’m looking forward to trying this, thank you 🙌
Really smart way of stacking filters to come up with such a great effect.
Right on, ya that moment I finally got the grain to create little dots was like a-ha!!!
Genuinely mind blowing! In all my design/illustrative years, I've never thought this way. I do love the methodical practice of stippling manually, but it is obviously very time-consuming.
This man is a literal machine I don’t know how he does it
The Texturelab is actually a meth lab
most underrated yet best PS Tuts out there...

So... I'm amazed!
No idea that it was possible to get this effect in this way... no clue.
Thanks for sharing.
it's very convincing and yet everything is very easily controllable. Kudos!!!

That's really cool, thanks man! When I finally cracked how to use that Hard Mix blending mode as a threshold, it opened up a ton of ideas

Veeery good! Thanks :)

Thank you so much.
Amazing! How do you come up with this stuff? No other Photoshop teacher teaches creative ways to use this program like you do. Thanks!
Right on... I just really enjoy this stuff - I've got tons of folders full of half baked experiments, then I'll just pick one and get OCD on it!
GREAT
Thanks for sharing!
Absolutely!
How do you come up with these ideas? like, do you experiment t yourself or do you get the information from somewhere?... Haha i would never be able to just figure out these things myself
thank you sir
THANKYOU
Besy teacher🔥🔥🔥
Can we do this in after effect?
very nice, I am kinda new to the PS so just a question, when you turn an image into a smart object PS doesn't allow to add the adjustment layer ( done at 2.22 in the video) can someone help me how to solve this one
I unfortunately am having the same problem
nice
What should I do when I use the shift key and right button to convert image into smart object and it isn’t letting me edit the hues and saturation ?
genial!!!!
is there a way to do this in clip studio?
You're a god
Haha 🤘🤘🤘
for some reason when i add noise nd set blending to hardmix the hardmix doesnt get displayed, when i go back to the smartfilter it still looks hw it looks with no smart filter

WHAT FONT WAS USED IN THIS PROYECT LPEASE ? & WHERE CAN I FIND THE SKULL THANK YOU SO MUCH
For the last step would it be better to use a Selective Color Adjustment Layer? given that it has the RGB color channels and B&W?
For sure, I like the idea of being able to target the B&W that way... That RGB to CMYK conversion isn't quite as intuitive for me as HSL, but it would totally work!
Compositing next😁
Ha I know, a compositing tutorial is looming over me... I've gotta figure out some specific angle to attack it from - such a broad subject. Noted though!
Why do my object turns black after applying filter other minimum roundness at 4px
Massa demais!
Can you provide this as a download?
What is the name of the app
How come i only found you now???
I do all like you, but i only got black dots at the end, can you maybe help me ?
Hopefully... So the dots are working, but they're all black and no color? If so, you should be able to switch off that very first Hue Sat to get the color back.... Or is the problem something different?
@@Texturelabs Nop yes its all ok, I just talk before trying. Thx for your time and keep it up thats insane !
*spends 5 hours stippling an architectural illustration*
*watches this video*
Not that it matters, but "Gauss" rhymes with "house".
Ha, no that's great to know!
"it's a stipple effect"
Oh yeah that's kinda cool. Don't love that style personally though...
"it's all done through live effects on a smart object"

Can you make a video on how can we make poster video like this instagram.com/p/CLeqWhnhMl1/?igshid=12jiyc1mttjxr

@@Texturelabs thanks
Just not quite as convincing of a hand drawning as some other methods.
bro! This is amazing!
Thanks man 🤘🤘🤘🤘
