According to some of the concept art from the film's "Art Of" book, Star was originally going to be a shapeshifter with a humanoid base form, basically be a mix of Peter Pan and the Genie in terms of personality, and was hinted to have a possible romance with Asha.
Or what if Asha is already the apprentice and a magic user to the king, and she sees some of the bad wishes the king is keeping and realizes “ohhhhhhh! The king has a valid reason not to grant some wishes!”
26:26 the only story I can think of right now that kinda has the main character start off as the hero, then became a villain and then back to hero is Odysseus from "Epic: The Musical" by Jorge Rivera-Herrans.
No, you’re right. The Jen one was way worse because they obviously interviewed them about the show and not the movie. And made it look like they were talking about the movie.
8:53 Apparently, Doug Walker's never watched a Gilbert & Sullivan opera, as the lyric "leave you here I don't wanna" just sounds like a modernised form of the kind of lyrics they would put in their operas. (e.g. "an incubus then I thought her", "all thieves who could my fees afford", "two little maids in attendance come", "in vein to us you plead", "if anyone anything lacks")

...Well. It would've been SOMETHING, at least. Whether good or bad, it would have at least had something.
I wish we got evil Gomez and Morticia Addams, we could have gotten a villain song that was a duet!
This movie's a sham.
Watch out, world, here we am.
🤣🤣🤣

Exactly

This isn’t quite as awful as the end credits of Jem And The Holograms, but it’s pretty close!
😤

this Disney movie is a terrible Disney animated movie
15:12 Man, Doug's *really* not gonna like the Gilbert & Sullivan operas, then.
It was probably rushed to reach the 100th anniversary mark.
React to Nostalgia critic the land before time please!
2:50 that was only part that was interesting and not even about the movie
