We could honestly do with a few levels of shields to deal with them. L1: scrap plates. L2: riot. L3: stun. L4: kinetic feedback L5: hard light.
Im really looking forward to the explosive bots. What brought me to this game was a trailer where they are defending their base with different kinds of traps. Right now, there's no reason for that. All you need to defend is a block going up and down around your base. This bot would end that.
I think if they implement building from a blueprint in survival then some of the dangers are fine, but the way it is now building something complicated and time consuming getting wiped out so easily isn't good. Though I think that the blueprints should be locked to the save and not allow importing of blueprints from creative. Basically you have to build it once by hand at least. Also you would need the materials in inventory or nearby chest to build it.
Yes like legends of Zelda tears of the kingdom with auto build this would be a good idea
I know with Fant mod you can build blueprints from the lift in survival if you have the stuff for it in your inventory but they are not locked to just survival created ones. I am not sure if that is vanilla or fant because I pretty much never play without the mod lol. It would also be nice to have something like the space engineers projector. So you can easily repair your vehicle and not just have to scrap it and rebuild from the blueprint.
one thing I never understood about this game, the lack of weapons and armor we are literally destroying robots and your telling me we can't rip off their arms and turn them into a 2 handed saw blade? we are literally stuck with nothing but the sledgehammer for hours upon hours until you learn to get soil, grow crops, pack the crops then give to the trader just to buy the spud gun, feels way too long of a process to get it
you can try the red and blue totebots in game, just install fant mod 2
What make even better the creator has so many many new robot coming they didn't show all of them because spoiler so only show very few in dev log 25
