Bonjour,c'est la meilleure vidéo pour le changement de la courroie de distribution que j'ai vue sur le web.Après ça même un néophyte peut changer la courroie avec beaucoup de précaution tout de même.Un grand merci. Hello, this is the best video for the change of the distribution belt that I saw on the web. After that even a neophyte can change the belt very carefully. Many thanks.
Nice video - Thanks. I already have my motor out and your video helped greatly watching you uninstall and install back to back made it easy to understand the process!
They are not all 26mm on the cam shafts, some are 23mm and can be mixed, it is recommended that the pump, cam and crank seals and bearings are replaced at the same time, Follow owners must also note there is a big difference in proceeding with the early SNC engine to the LNC engine.
Nice video! If you remove the cam gears to change seals and the cam shafts change position like you demonstrated, is the a correct way to put the cam gear back on?
@@hoffmods got it, can the dowel on the cam shaft go into any of the three slots on the cam gear or is there a specific slot? I’m trying to understand for the exhaust side.
Ya didn't have to take the engine out to do that, just saying. Good time to reseal pan, replace rear seal, pull pistons and rods replace with high compression, do valve job/ check and clean, coolant reroute, maybe new headers. Clean n paint engine bay, all that fun stuff.

Yes. There is a locating dowel behind the bolt and washer.

@@kevinsaeed9817 There is an E and I at the end of the gear. So for exhaust you choose the location pointing towards the E mark on the gear
@@hoffmods thank you for clarifying I really appreciate it! Keep up the Miata engine content!
@@kevinsaeed9817 Thank you 😊 hope to make some more videos this year
