I often think about back in the day. Pirate radio was audio only . There was no internet streaming and you never had a clue what the artist looked like, unless you knew them. I never even really used to think about not knowing what most looked like. Saying that, a few years after grime started, they was all on RUclips and stuff and then we got to know what they looked like. Personally, garage and early grime was the best. Pure vibes and so many years of memories.
Back in the day when I was broke I was on Bow Road and looking out for eaters Back in the day before I had seven figures our bredders were begging me for features Back in the day before bloggers and tweeters before they knew I was a genius They were the days when I was excluded from school for fucking with my teachers I was so damn facetious, I would leave em with fevers Seizures, bunch of holes in my sneakers
So interesting to hear how much Memphis rap influenced him. Probably a tell to why Three 6 Mafia and Project Pat are some of my favourite artists alongside Dizzee
Actually, to be sincerely honest in my humble opinion without being sentimental of course without offending anyone who thinks differently from my point of view and without hiding any thoughts in my mind and without lies to the actual truth with my clear open mind and clean heart, expressing what ever is embedded inside me for a long time which I didn't say because I was nervous. But today, by gathering all the courage and motivation, I just want to say that I actually feel and think that I have absolutely nothing to say. Thank you.
Had the white label I luv you on Vinyl, fucking loved that tune. The album was a mash up of all his chats from radio days. Dizzee and More fire were the shit at the time
Dizz I have to apologise to you. I bought your Album, boy in the corner on Vinyl and well, I absolutely battered it and it don’t sound good, anymore. That was when I first got decks and of course I used to do many crazy wheel ups and when you are hype, you pull it back , needle jumps and scratches record. It didn’t occur to me that I was fucking up my vinyl, until I noticed some of em sound like shit. 2 vinyl that I also battered was Eskimo and Creeper and funnily enough, both sounded pretty good after many years. I actually sold both vinyl for literally £1 each. On discogs they was going for silly money and because I rinsed the hell out of em and had no interest, I decided to practically give em away and both buyers on discogs was over the moon. Plus I got both vinyl for free in the first place. Some may say I’m stupid but In life it’s nice to be generous, sometimes. I may look in to picking up another copy of boy in the corner if it’s not silly money . I swear I kept seeing link on RUclips to buy his vinyl album for about £30 .
Wiley is the king of Grime fact. Dizzee is the Prince. Remember who brought him through.... Wiley. Pay as you go times. Eskimo Dance.....Wiley carried the whole scene for years. His a living Legend. Dizzee Rascal is the most talented Mc to ever come out of the Grime scene. Then Kano, Tinchy Strider, Then Skepta & JME, D Double E and so on 💯

Whoever uploaded this, you didn't even get the mans name right. It's DIZZEE not "Dizzie". You wouldn't upload a video titled "The Beetles"
Shocking that
High disrespect
this guy changed the game in my era… thanks dizzi for making happy memories!

The legend himself 👑
Best album of the 00’s without a doubt. That’s across all genres too
For me it's still the greatest album to ever come out of the UK
Boy in the corner and Wookie Album are 2 best from 2000’s imho. Both are incredible.
@@AM-bn7ok if you’re talking strictly rap then it’s sure up there, but out of all the albums to EVER come out of the uk it barely scratches top 10
@@grahamkelly8662 man I forgot about that wookie album, Arular by M.I.A is a good shout too
