Aside from Animal Taming, are there any other skills that are this annoying to level up?

Oh man, I forgot about those. Those are the 2 skills I've never gotten over 80 in my entire time playing this game.

I love the idea of visiting a new dungeon or two every week. Haven't seen many of them myself

I recently reactivated my old UO account and it is wonderful to find people still playing! I'm on Great Lakes, but thinking of moving to Atlantic because there seem to be more players there. For a person returning after 10+ years, is it hard to pick back up?

I think its fairly easy to get in and join a guild and contribute. Nothing too complicated and mostly a fun process. Going from functional and participating to leading end game content can be a bit of a steeper learning curve, but I had fun with it.

Where do most people hunt these days? I recently returned and have been to some of the original dungeons and a handful of new ones to me but rarely saw anyone.

So I think it depends on what your goal is. There are a lot of things you can farm solo that will help you catch up in the inflated economy. For example, farming various imbuing ingredients in Stygian Abyss can net you a lot of money. On Atlantic for example, essences of control sell for 30k a pop. Also in Stygian Abyss there are some artifacts that drop from mini champ bosses that can sell for a lot - Animated Legs of the Insane Tinker for example can sell on Atlantic for 90 million. Also farming powders of translocation/bags of sending can be profitable. If you're looking for endgame content, people seem to like to go to Shadowguard with groups and do the Rooftop, or champ spawns in fel, and there are a few others that I haven't really delved into yet. Once I start getting these builds finalized I'll try to branch out and try some of those.

Oh and one other thing, in Trammel a lot of the classic dungeons have been re-worked with various new systems. Some cool, some less than cool, but if you learn how they work they generally will have stuff you can sell. But yeah, they are all pretty quiet, you kinda gotta bring your own friends for those.

It's certainly a different game, but I'm having a nice time with it.
