30 MINUTES of Night PLANE SPOTTING at LAX Los Angeles Airport [ LAX / KLAX ]

Featured here is 30+ minutes of some tremendous plane spotting at this world class airport at night. Just like during the day, LAX boasts an incredible variety of aircraft to catch in action during the night. On this particular night, the bay fog rolled in and created some cool effects on some of the departures on the southern end of the airport!
Also featured at the very end of the video is the final departure of the Air Tahiti A340 back in September. The route is now flown by 787s.

This has to be one of the best night compilations at LAX I have ever seen! It amazes me just how much variety of airlines you get from across the world bringing out the best of their fleet here at LAX!

What are the kids screaming about?
I saw red hot exhaust on a few GE90-115Bs, like the Air New Zealand 77W at 12:08, the Virgin Australia 77W at 14:21, and the Philippines 77W at 30:33. I also saw it a little bit of a red glow with the Delta 77L's GE90-110Bs at 18:52. Silly guys telling me that the only time you'll ever see a jet engine's exhaust glow is if you have an afterburner, LOL. Though the 777's exhaust, especially from the GE90 seems to throw off more fire than the exhaust of any other airliner, I've seen it in videos and I've seen it in real life (even though I see a bright blue glow IRL and only see a dim red glow when the engines are on idle thrust). I guess it makes sense as the GE90 is the biggest and most powerful jet engine there is and the 777 has the strongest and most dangerous jet blast of any plane there is for that reason!
