Between Broly and Jiren... I’ll just give the answer I usually give when this question is asked “Broly is stronger, but Jiren would win” In terms of raw power it’s hard to decide who wins because they fight drastically different versions of Goku and Vegeta, and ultra instinct and Gogeta. That being said I usually put them as equal in power: ie Jiren wins due to the fact that he’s highly experienced at fighting, Broly has had a literal day of fighting.
jiren is stronger in terms of pure feats, the problem with the movie was that kaioken and evolution weren't present thus giving goku and vegeta a huge nerf goku and vegeta ssjb were still holding their own with broly and golden freeza lasted one hour against a ssj broly which jiren knocked out freeza outcold with one punch in his golden form but broly's growth is incredible but jiren will most likely put an end to it before broly grows even stronger
I see where dino is coming from but in total I agree with deion because it's a stamina based game and if you get your stamina broken then that's on you plus if you drop a combo the downside is gonna be doing less total damage than if you didn't drop that combo I think it would be a little better if when you drop a combo then just go for a knock back into an ultimate it wouldn't do as much damage just so there would be balancing but the no step vanishing once your stamina is broken is a good thing overall
That's like saying in a shooter that you should still be able to do damage even though you missed your shots. Just because you cornered or "stunned" a target and you then miss your shots, you should get the full reward? There are so many different game scenarios where this is just wrong, and it's wrong in this scenario too.
@@LyonManes shooters are way different than a fighting game if you miss all your shots then of course you won't do damage but if you stun someone and then hit only some shots then the downside is you don't do the maximum amount of damage. But saying that you'd miss all your shots is like saying if I break someone's stamina and then just completely miss hitting them or drop the combo after one hit over and over again until they regain their stamina, maybe the damage should be scaled a little if you break someone's stamina and then drop the combo but the fact is that someone worked to get the stamina broken so the other player should be punished at least a little bit. Another possible system is that the player that's stamina broken regains their stamina faster if the other player drops a combo on them

The whole underlying issue with what everyone is saying is that: You both get ONE LIMIT BURST. That's it. Use it to come back from a stamina break, and then work from there. Just because you limit after getting your stamina broken doesn't mean they don't get to abuse your stamina being broken. They took out 90% of the point of the limit. That would be like removing certain aspects of Sparking in FigherZ.

Daijiion Smith you need to remember that Jiren was no where near his full power when fighting Hit... trust me I LOVE Hit, he’s my favorite new character they introduced in Dragon Ball Super but if Jiren was to go all out, 100% power, Hit would not stand a chance. He just doesn’t have enough power and would die before he could adapt 😬
If Hit can go all out without worrying about his opponent dying, so can Jiren, and Hit's nowhere close to matching Jiren's full power blow-for-blow when he started getting heated up.

I think why they removed the mechanic of vanishing around without stamina because people would just break their own stamina and run away til it came back. That annoyed me so much with the female majins and other characters would just grab me, break their stamina, then step vanish away til it came back. I know you could get lucky and catch them but if they have bad connection you're not gonna touch them at all.

Depends on how long Jiren toys with Broly. If he plays with him or comes in halfway through a fight already in progress, Broly could win. What also could happen is if Broly starts off the fight as strong as he was at the movie. If he starts at SSB Gogeta level and grows AGAIN like he did the first time he takes it easy. He cant start at ssgss gogeta level because he was never on that level. He was most likely to a similar strenght difference that super perfect cell had against ss2 gohan, or maybe half way to ss3 gogeta but thats it.

Limit Bursts should allow step vanishing as long as theyre active, even when stamina broken. Itd give incentive to limit burst when broken to enable step vanishing while broken, and also you can only use this once per match so id make you think about using it whenever the opportunity arises

Broly is complete fodder to any of the actual high tiers in dragon ball while zeno doesn’t have magical abilities he’s just purely hax but he also can become invulnerable to all attacks and immune to his own erasure without being affected by the surroundings, space, matter, etc that he destroys and in a ring fight zeno wouldn’t get destroyed he would literally one shot broly and again he’s shown to be invulnerable, the guards are also unknown in terms of strength all we know is that the grand priest is 1 of the time 5 strongest while zeno’s guards could potentially hold the spot but the guards are also individual beings as shown in a panel where they had their own personality while going on vacation. Next ki is directly correlated to the amount of power a character has, you also have broly who isn’t stronger nor close to beerus.
Not that one sided. It'd be a good fight, but Jiren wins. Jiren was literally no-diffing two SSBs while Broly couldn't end Frieza in an hour, and still struggled a bit even at his strongest to take out Goku and Vegeta. Jiren washed all those three when full power in seconds.
I think if broly actually knows how to use his power it would be way closer the movie was the first time he ever used his power and Also Frieza had plot armor the entire time don't say he couldn't beat him its straight not true also could hit beat siren.
I hate XV2 for many things, but that change, that you can't Z-vanish anymore when your stamina is broken, in my opinion is good change, people were just cheesing/abusing it way too much, and, if you get your stamina broken - 1. It's your fault 2. Your stamina regenerates to full quite quickly while the opponent doesn't unless they stay still, so if the stamina break status wasn't punishing enough, it would actually be a reward to the player who got their stamina broken and not a punishment. 3. Should it be like before, that - You break someone's stamina, they fell out of a combo because of BS or a tinniest mistake, and then you couldn't catch them because of XV2/connection bs and they just z-vanish-spam so hard that you absolutely just can't land a blow on them so they just get all their stamina back while you didn't, so you actually got punished that you got opponent stamina broken? I don't think so. And if a combo is dropped while someone has their stamina broken, the punish is that you aren't dealing damage to them until you pick the combo back.. and all that time, their stamina is coming back, not waiting for you to continue, the precious time of stamina break that you earned & could be using to deal damage - is running out. Combo drop - you lost some of that time & potential extra damage you could deal, that's the punish. Plus, combos drop often without your fault, so there's only more reason to make it less punishing than more. PS: Yes, I know, old video. But I like to revisit, rewatch, and recomment old videos.

Rhymstyle is crazy as hell, so you want people still breaking there own stamina and start step vanishing until there stamina comes back, this way is a far better way because it makes you have to become a better player
And as far as a defensive option while your stamina is broken, it shouldn't be vanishing. I'd say you should be able to block (and by extension grab) while your stamina is broken, but have it barely reduce damage unless it's a perfect block, and all it takes is a few normal hits to break it- which resets your stamina regen, making it punishable. It gives you stall options to make use of while your stamina is broken, but is still an unfavorable position to be in and can be punished if you get outplayed trying to take advantage of it. Would be way better than the completely safe step-vanishing.
removing step vanishes during stamina break was a good thing. Nothing is worse than putting in tons of effort for a stamina break, then having all that effort wasted as the opponent step vanishes every half second and you're unable to touch them because Xenoverse be Xenoversing.
Oh and Rhymestyle... snapping when your stamina is broken WAS A BUG!!!! The one point of fighting in this game is to wear out the opponent’s stamina and then break and capitalize. Removing that was the best thing this game has done. Hands down

Limit Bursts should allow step vanishing as long as theyre active, even when stamina broken. Itd give incentive to limit burst when broken to enable step vanishing while broken, and also you can only use this once per match so id make you think about using it whenever the opportunity arises
Also to add onto this, after the limit burst runs out, step vanishing is impossible when stamina broken

Also broly never kept going it's literally said he was at his limit as in his peak, main reason he grew in the first place was due to how saiyans work against stronger foes and since broly was fodder that anatomy just pushed him to accelerate his power increase rapidly even though it has a limit which means he can't just grow infinitely that's a nlf(no limit fallacy) and he'll be above Zeno

Broly is complete fodder to any of the actual high tiers in dragon ball while zeno doesn’t have magical abilities he’s just purely hax but he also can become invulnerable to all attacks and immune to his own erasure without being affected by the surroundings, space, matter, etc that he destroys and in a ring fight zeno wouldn’t get destroyed he would literally one shot broly and again he’s shown to be invulnerable, the guards are also unknown in terms of strength all we know is that the grand priest is 1 of the time 5 strongest while zeno’s guards could potentially hold the spot but the guards are also individual beings as shown in a panel where they had their own personality while going on vacation. Next ki is directly correlated to the amount of power a character has, you also have broly who isn’t stronger nor close to beerus.

Not that one sided. It'd be a good fight, but Jiren wins. Jiren was literally no-diffing two SSBs while Broly couldn't end Frieza in an hour, and still struggled a bit even at his strongest to take out Goku and Vegeta. Jiren washed all those three when full power in seconds.
I think if broly actually knows how to use his power it would be way closer the movie was the first time he ever used his power and Also Frieza had plot armor the entire time don't say he couldn't beat him its straight not true also could hit beat siren.

I hate XV2 for many things, but that change, that you can't Z-vanish anymore when your stamina is broken, in my opinion is good change, people were just cheesing/abusing it way too much, and, if you get your stamina broken - 1. It's your fault 2. Your stamina regenerates to full quite quickly while the opponent doesn't unless they stay still, so if the stamina break status wasn't punishing enough, it would actually be a reward to the player who got their stamina broken and not a punishment. 3. Should it be like before, that - You break someone's stamina, they fell out of a combo because of BS or a tinniest mistake, and then you couldn't catch them because of XV2/connection bs and they just z-vanish-spam so hard that you absolutely just can't land a blow on them so they just get all their stamina back while you didn't, so you actually got punished that you got opponent stamina broken? I don't think so.
And if a combo is dropped while someone has their stamina broken, the punish is that you aren't dealing damage to them until you pick the combo back.. and all that time, their stamina is coming back, not waiting for you to continue, the precious time of stamina break that you earned & could be using to deal damage - is running out. Combo drop - you lost some of that time & potential extra damage you could deal, that's the punish. Plus, combos drop often without your fault, so there's only more reason to make it less punishing than more.

Answer to Dino's qualm with step-vanishing: FIGHT BACK, if they drop the combo, you have a chance to hit them back
Rhymstyle is crazy as hell, so you want people still breaking there own stamina and start step vanishing until there stamina comes back, this way is a far better way because it makes you have to become a better player

And as far as a defensive option while your stamina is broken, it shouldn't be vanishing.
I'd say you should be able to block (and by extension grab) while your stamina is broken, but have it barely reduce damage unless it's a perfect block, and all it takes is a few normal hits to break it- which resets your stamina regen, making it punishable.
It gives you stall options to make use of while your stamina is broken, but is still an unfavorable position to be in and can be punished if you get outplayed trying to take advantage of it. Would be way better than the completely safe step-vanishing.

Seems like a good change to me. Breaking stamina is hard. Dropping a combo isn’t. They just aren’t comparable.

removing step vanishes during stamina break was a good thing. Nothing is worse than putting in tons of effort for a stamina break, then having all that effort wasted as the opponent step vanishes every half second and you're unable to touch them because Xenoverse be Xenoversing.

Oh and Rhymestyle... snapping when your stamina is broken WAS A BUG!!!! The one point of fighting in this game is to wear out the opponent’s stamina and then break and capitalize. Removing that was the best thing this game has done. Hands down
