This video made me so excited….your video is the only video that shows majority of supplies in a hospital….the steps in how you draw meds and reason why patients are in your unit. I appreciate this video so much❤. I’m about to start nursing school in August 🎉
Congratulations Sweetie 💜💜💜 Yesssss another black queen as a nurse!! I hope you have been enjoying your experience so far. I know it’s hard with COVID but I’m confident that you are amazing!! I’m so proud of you!💜💜💜
I'm an X-Ray tech in a hospital,2nd shift. I love working in a hospital. I spend most of my shift doing fluoroscopy for surgeons during everything from cardiac, vascular, to orthopedics. The rest of my shift is spent working in every department in the hospital, from our medical, cardiac,Neuro and transplant icu's, to the emergency room. I went to school in my early thirties after staying home with my kids for several years. It was one of the best decisions I've ever made. Working in healthcare is amazingly rewarding.
Yayyyy!!!! I’m so glad you found this video helpful!! I wish you all the best in nursing school! Thank you for being willing to join this profession. You will be an amazing nurse!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much for this video. I currently work as a medical assistant and have been debating between lvn or rn. Everyone tells me to go for rn. After watching your video. I made my choice, for rn. Thanks again.
Lolol!! I was a little nervous to make it!! I follow a lot of nursing and doctor channels that make them so I kind of followed their format. I made sure not to include any patient information and didn’t show any employees! Plus this was when I worked night shift so there were no managers around!!! Lolol!!!! I planned on making more of these but this video was filmed in Jan. 2020 and all hell broke loose the next month. Now I have to wear so much PPE that handling my phone is nonexistent. Thennnn I’m constantly running around with all the patients I have to care for so there is no time anymore. I’m hoping once we slow back down a bit to make more. There is so much more I want to show!! You hate needles?!! lol!! Same!!! I’ve been told though from my patients that they don’t feel my pokes!! I jab really fast so it hardly registers to them!! It looks vicious though how I do it! It literally looks like I’m stabbing them but it works!!! Many will tell me “ok I’m ready for the shot” and I’ll say “I’m finished”!!! 😂😂
