I appreciate you educating others about embryo adoption! We adopted 4 embabies 5 years ago and now have our 4 year old son from that. He is the greatest blessing! I honestly very seldom think about the fact he is not genetically related to us. He actually looks like my husband and I too, so other people would never know unless we shared the story. Embryo adoption is a wonderful option and I was so grateful to experience pregnancy, birth and nursing. Praying for your embryo transfer!

First of all you explained it very well. Secondly, when that baby is born you won’t even remember that you are not genetically related. The baby will be your baby from day one 😊❤️💕

No, unfortunately! That's the one thing that we really wish we did have. There's a "yard" in the front (basically a patio spot and some grass) that we try to use in the summers though. Thank you so much :)

We ran into them at the top of a volcano in Maui! It was pretty cool 😊 And then again a couple days later at black sand beach haha. They’re awesome at all things photo/video!

There also a extra options here in Australia .they will let you take emboryo home to make into jewelry or plant it

Hi, I have a question. why it takes 5 years for you to get pregnant? Did you get the embryo adoption from the first day or you tried by your own? Actually, I got egg from someone else but my uterine lining is not thick enough for transfer. Did you have thick uterine when you wanted to transfer the embryo, or you build your uterine lining by Estrogen supplements?

So why did you continue IVF injections etc?
If you hava successful pregnancy out of the embryo adoption with the "child" be able to find out in the future where his or her genes came from or is it all secret ? , i really hope this is successful for you x
Definitely not a secret 😊 It will be a part of their story that we tell them from the very beginning (of course with age appropriate explanations haha)
Ayla and Caleb i know you guys wouldn't keep it a secret, i wasnt sure if it would be in part of the adoption paperwor that the future child not being aloud to find out who the donors are, this is all nes to me & thats why i have been following you guys for so long, i have been blessed to have 7 children but my friend at school was adopted & was told sbout it from an early age "as she was a chosen child & not just created" (her words not mine) but she was never aloud to know who "made her" & she cant have children, just like her parents , i have so much respect for you guys & im so greatful for you to share your infertility journey as its teaching me new things , thank you x

Hi Ayla and Caleb. I have question for you: I know you are in the early planning stages but are you prepared to have a premature baby or to be induced before the due date, due to your infertility struggle?
Are you going to have the embryos genetically tested? Then you can make sure it's healthy, also pick the gender.
Virginia Koerner you don't pick the gender. That is highly unethical. :)
Julie Gartside I watched a utube video where these people knew the gender because it was genetically tested. OK, so they could know the gender.
Julie Gartside you can actually know the gender before transferring. We had 3 embryos (two boys and one girl). We chose to transfer the girl first and later we will transfer the boys. It’s a personal decision to know the gender ahead of time but I wouldn’t call it unethical if knowing the gender doesn’t influence your decision to go through with the pregnancy or not.
If the embryos haven't already been genetically tested before freezing I don't think it's possible to do it now. They can't thaw them, take a chunk, test it and refreeze them
Actually knowing itself the gender and gender selection is capable
Ethic itself is perspective&intention
Some parents know the gender/gender select because of health, genetic disease/in general specific health issues effect one gender mostly/only more than the other
