@@radiantred4158 That's how much shes been primed and brainwashed to a point where she sees herself as a weapon rather than a person. i just realized something about lumina after playing this game over and over again for a decade the way lumina talk about and interacts with the other characters represents how lightning subconciously feels about them with noel, lumina represents the guilt lightning feels from sending him on his journey with serah, the fake prophecy was to give him hope and the fact that he needed to kill lightning in it was in part because lightning subconciously wanted to be punished by him with snow, lumina represents lightnings hate for him, even though lightning has accepted snow and gave her blessing for snow and serah wedding deep down lightning really doesnt like him, during the whole yuusnan plot lumina keeps telling lightning to let snow die because of this and gets angry at her because she saved him even though she really hates him with sazh and dajh, lumina is shown more sympathetic towards sazh but doesnt seem to give a flying f about dajh, this could be because lightning considers sazh a brother in arms and really respects and cares about him while she hasnt really interacted with dajh so she doesnt have any kind of opinion or thought about him lumina also seems to hate the ark hope because he is a fake, so how she truly feels about the real hope is left for interpretation with caius lumina seems to be a afraid, she vanished when he appeared and warned lightning about going after him, possibly indicating a subconcious fear caused by her defeat in the previous game also lumina likes to hang a lot with yuul, in part this could be because they are scheming something together to help lightning but also represents a subconcius sense of camaraderie since both yuul and lightning where at one point etros servants with fang and vanille is a little tricky, lumina hangs mostly with vanille and is only seen once with fang, their interactions could indicate a subconcious distrust for fang and some kind of protecting instinct for vanille, since in the first game fang tried to betray the party twice and vanille was the most mentally vulnerable of the during the second half of the first game since everyone else had come to terms with their personal struggles while she was still dealing with her survivors guilt that she continue to carry for almost the whole trilogy i really like lumina and i wish we could see a little more of the complete and true lightning
@@zorohibiki It is unfortunate that she didn't survive as her own being and just merged back to Lightning. I know that she was basically Lightning's human side but still she was her own character and she was very unique. Similar to Sephiroth's remnants from Advent Children. I mean, if Kingdom Hearts 3 ended with like 3 versions of Soras being their own individual, so could FF13 imo. I would like to think that Lumina would be like the third Farron sister in The New World and she would've lived with Lightning and Serah. It's a shame that Opera Omnia ended before we see her added there. I imagine her interaction with Lightning, Serah and Vanille would have been very charming.
Lumina is one spooooooky girl... omg, I've just realized, she has the same voice as Flame Princess from Adventure Time!!! Haha, now I'll always be expecting her to tell Lightning to "DO THE SPLITS!!!" :-)
Has anyone else noticed that from 2:41 to 2:43 Lumina's ponytail is all messed up? It just floats in the air next to her head, kinda annoying for some reason xD
Saber C it's normal, it's because of the chaos aura around her, if you look well it's not just her hair that are flying around, her closes are Werder moving too
Lumina's voice actor is way better than any of the other FF13 series dubbed characters. Can't stand anyone's voice in this game. Lightning shouldn't have been voiced by the same VA as Liara from Mass Effect. It really doesn't match her.
On the contrary, I think Ali Hillis was the PERFECT choice for Lightning. And yes, it does match her. Lightning is cold, and calculating. She shuts herself off from everyone else because she can only trust herself. She's jaded. Ali Hillis does this perfectly. Lightning always sounds monotone and unemotional...but the huge moments that call for emotion, she nails those parts too ie: when Lightning saves Snow in Lightning Returns. One of the most emotional moments in the entire trilogy and you really got to see a different side of Lightning.
The only thing I felt these games had were diverse characters with good voice acting and good graphics. The combat systems were a mess, the stories were really confusing and poorly written, not captivating in the slightest. The gameplay was basically just walking through the maps and picking it currency and talking to people so you could progress the story. The characters had great voice actors and amazing models but it felt so wasted. The hair quality and clothes and skin tones were way ahead of their time.
I love Lumina, she is so dark and mischievous while nearly always talking in riddles.
Lumina. Elevating trolling to an elegant art form since 2014.
What makes Lumina so scary, is that she is Lightning at 14 years old
Does that mean Lightning was speaking to herself?? Her younger self???
Now that I am rewatching this scene, it makes it unnerving that Lightning didn't recognize her own face, even if it's been years.

Lumina: Did someone say boss fights and hella cutscenes
Why is Lightning wearing Cloud's clothes? Is this a mod or canon?
Yeah. I realized that after I looked at all of the DLCs in the game. xD
But Sakura and Naruto don't end up together.
I have seen the better hand of this physiological breakdown.
