Totally agree, I think that's one of the big things about collecting I love, finding those less than obvious places to buy games from, anyone can find and walk into a cex, but I just get more of a buzz by finding stuff in a place like Timeless Toys etc.. thanks for watching mate!
Cracking Video Fella 🙂 I can't wait to get back (I'll be in Scarborough for a few days at the end of the month) top 1st pick up fella. I love that Game, it was meant to the the 1st in a Reboot for the Alone in the Dark Series but it didn't sell well so they never made a follow up. its a shame because arguably its was the last good Alone in the Dark Game. I love how "precariously" everything is stacked in the The Game Pad. it a wonderful little shop but may god do they need to do some organising. oh what a surprise CEX Scarborough's window has been broken AGAIN!!!! Can't wait for Part Two 😀
Looking forward to trying that AitD then! Yeah, you take your life into your own hands in the Game Pad lol, I swear I didn't cause that avalanche you hear in there! But as far as reorganising, I just don't know where he would start... thanks for watching mate!
19:54 Man that shop is packed. I wouldn't stack that much cardboard on top of each other, but I guess the game inside adds stability. Does that store do good business? Maybe it's just too small for the inventory. That's the kind of store I like though since prices may not be updated and things may be hidden from reach unless you dig. The same holds true for garage sales and thrift stores.
It's a unique place! It's been there for a good few years now too so guess he does ok, can't help but feel there's so much more potential with it though and the stock that's in there!
Great video. Nice to see Filey again. My gran used to live there. Nice quiet spot after the crowds go home. I remember that Timeless Toys shop. Did i see the MegaCD game Shining Force there? Thats a £200-300 game. Can't quite see the price on the little yellow sticker. Bet it was steep. A rare title to see out in the wild like that. Hope you had a great time away. Looking forward to part 2.
It was indeed a copy of Shining Force, £210! A little out if my price range! We had a great time, love Filey and Scarborough! Thanks for watching mate, part 2 coming soon!
Fun first part matey and looks as though the weather's remained decent for you throughout.. Whitby is only about an hour from where I am.. not been there in years though.. last time I went it was rammed.. super touristy like you say so getting around the charity shops etc was a nightmare.. good luck with the hunt though matey 😎👍
Enjoyed that Paul and looking forward to part 2. Looks like the weather was decent too which is always a good thing! The clip at the end though has me wanting a pint, not ideal as it's just gone 11pm haha Great grab with PGR 4, it's not something I play particularly regularly but it reminds me of those early 360 days so every once in a blue moon I'll stick it on for that quick blast of nostalgia. Still plays well to be fair. Vampire Rain is a funny one, it's not a great game by any stretch but I remember buying it over here in Gamestop in/around early 2009. I'm going to sound madder than a box of frogs here but I found it really quite relaxing listening to the rain in the game haha...as I say, not a great title, pretty average actually but rock hard too which doesn't help. I might go back to it soon now that you've reminded me of it. Will be interesting to hear your thoughts on a future vid.
Yeah Vampire Rain was such a chance buy, like I said it was there last year and I passed on it, so seeing it there this year but cheaper, felt like I had to grab it lol, intrigued by it but not hopeful, but we'll see! Thx for watching mate, part 2 dropping soon!
Some tidy finds! Can’t wait for part 2!
Thanks mate! Yeah, there's a lot more games to come in part 2!
Some really cool little shops out there where you can find what you can't find anywhere else (if we don't talk about internet). Nice pick ups

I've lived in scarborough most of my life and I had no idea Timeless Toys existed!
It's a really small shop, right at the bottom of the main street in Filey, great little shop! Thanks for watching mate!

Haha no way we stayed at The Bay last year great little place apart from the prices in the pub/restaurant. Hope you had a good one Paul 😎
Small world! Yeah we've stayed there a few times now, just really enjoy it there but yeah, the pub is pricey! Thanks for watching mate!
