I love the evolution of John's EDC updates: 2016 - short video, bought all his stuff from various brands, doesn't really care about EDC 2018 - starts to have some of his own things (WPS hoodie), a little bit more into EDC 2020 - long a** video, almost all his stuff is his own, smokes a cigar like a real BMF, totally into EDC... I love this channel!!
The streamlight microstream is pretty awesome for the price. I use it literally every day. Funfact, the rechargable version throws 250 lumens, whereas the AAA version only does 100 lumens.
Loved this! I walk my guard dog (🤭) with a glock 26, extra mag, pepper spray, dagger, and phone. I never leave my house without a Glock. I am a fluffy girl, and I do have an issue with holsters being uncomfortable. My sometimes solution is a waistband carrier from The Well Armed Woman.

I carry a MicroStream as well. I hot rodded mine with a 10400 lithium battery. It's really bright! I have been using it that way for nearly 10 years now with no issues.

I have several 9mm variations I rotate, throwback to one of John's videos about swapping carry weapons, have the edge wallet, and I have several streamlight wedge lights I always carry along with a knife. Love the wedge because in your pocket it looks like a knife, and if I pull it out aggressively it draws the eyes, when you turn on 300 lumens into someone's light echo chamber to the brain, it disables anyone pretty quick for a brief time! And then it's real knife or gun time if needed.

I’m in the 80% temporarily due to non permissive environment ( cancer clinics and hospitals) and multiple drugs that could be mind affecting( but generally aren’t in my case). At home I carry a .357 around the farm.
Most days I carry, but due to some of my work sites I'm not allowed to (I work both armed and unarmed security) so I admit to not carrying all the time

A side note, if you are carrying a flashlight/weapon light (you should be carrying both), you need to carry, on your person, spare batteries. Nothing sucks worse than pulling out a flashlight and it doesn't work because the battery is dead. Love the channel. Molon Labe!

I took the mag holder off my tier-1 holster and it made my appendix setup so much better Separating the mag holder to other side of my body made appendix super comfortable

Mock me if you will, but often walk with an LCPII lite-rack with extra mag(s) and CCI ammo. Not great for every situation, but I've developed a level of confidence in my particular example regarding reliability and the ability to mag-dump accurately at urban combat ranges.

I have a question. When I order the tactical Chik-fil-t prison shank, does it come sharpened and wrapped or just instructions on how to upgrade the basic kit?
Pro tip from a federal correctional officer...For Chik-fil-a shanks, you want to sharpen the thicker handle end, and wrap the blade end in tape that you stole from the unit secretary. Also, don't forget to snap the blade off in your cellie's...er, attacker's neck. It can also be conveniently carried at all times in your kiester wallet...even in the shower.

The biggest attributor to gun carry consistency for me was a tank top undershirt. It doesn't make me feel like I'm wearing two shirts but it gives me a barrier between the grip texture and my skin. If carrying is uncomfortable for you or you carry with a short sleeve undershirt, give the tank top a try.
My guess it that it’s a Colonial Blades folder. They had some sort of issue a year or two back. Not sure if that’s why he didn’t show. Maybe his model is legally questionable in his jurisdiction.
My EDC is: Glock 19 in a fat guy holster(jx tactical), benchmade griptilian knife, BRS ChAB Knife in leather belt sheath, wallet, sharpie, pen, flashlight(inspector light I got at ace hardware like $20), whites custom boots(I have weird feet), keys clipped to belt loop.

I wear a chuck taylors. They're about $60. I like them a lot. They don't hurt my back and they don't hurt my feet. I carry something similar to everything else except the pistol. I don't have a CCW yet.
G43 in an appendix NSR holster every day. Even at work while wearing a tool pouch too. Then the Protech Malibu is the newest EDC knife I’ve been enamored with. Also been using AR500 phenix backpack that has soft pistol armor. That bag has a med kit, but if I’m not carrying the back pack then I’m carrying a Carhartt cooler that also has a med kit in it.

The biggest attributor to gun carry consistency for me was a tank top undershirt. It doesn't make me feel like I'm wearing two shirts but it gives me a barrier between the grip texture and my skin. If carrying is uncomfortable for you or you carry with a short sleeve undershirt, give the tank top a try.

My guess it that it’s a Colonial Blades folder. They had some sort of issue a year or two back. Not sure if that’s why he didn’t show. Maybe his model is legally questionable in his jurisdiction.
My EDC is:
Glock 19 in a fat guy holster(jx tactical), benchmade griptilian knife, BRS ChAB Knife in leather belt sheath, wallet, sharpie, pen, flashlight(inspector light I got at ace hardware like $20), whites custom boots(I have weird feet), keys clipped to belt loop.

honestly people dork out about pistol rounds though. i agree don't carry fmj for self defense but the people who act like 9mm hollowpoints perform like soft point 223 are a bit ridiculous.

I wear a chuck taylors. They're about $60. I like them a lot. They don't hurt my back and they don't hurt my feet. I carry something similar to everything else except the pistol. I don't have a CCW yet.

G43 in an appendix NSR holster every day. Even at work while wearing a tool pouch too. Then the Protech Malibu is the newest EDC knife I’ve been enamored with. Also been using AR500 phenix backpack that has soft pistol armor. That bag has a med kit, but if I’m not carrying the back pack then I’m carrying a Carhartt cooler that also has a med kit in it.
