    What a wonderful video. I learned so much. The demos of shrinkage were especially awesome. I work very small so these were really helpful. I’m also a woodcarver and have lots of finished pieces to use for press molds. Thanks so much for sharing.

    Great video! Can you clarify something for me? I’m told that I should throw pots that are consistently 1/4” thick, if one of these is added, the pot becomes 1/2” or more thick just in that spot. What precautions are needed for the firing process? Just a slow long dry under plastic?

      Not an issue but you are right just wait until both thicknesses are completely dry.
