As a rocket racing connoisseur, I can say that you need to lock in more. Currently your at fortnite festival (kendirck lamar) lock in level, but you need to be at rocket racing (forehead 2 millimeters away from screen lock in level.
I learned a good bit from this video! Would love to see you and this guy make an “optimal routes” kind of video. I know this type of stuff is changing every day with the game being so new but I know I would certainly study and appreciate them
Something I wanna add. I’m pretty sure the longer you delay the second press of the boost the longer your boost will last. If you wait long enough the boost will send you farther overall.
Great video I'm hard stuck in elite rank, I win 1 game than place not top 2 than go down % like in elite champion ranks if u don't place top 2 u lose % how do u even get outta elite rank? Like u gotta win 10 in row to afford to lose %
Im sitting diamond 2 only because the point gains even for first place are such a sluggish pace ( probably because of their match making fix so we don't have to wait so long ) I personally suggest to others you play the game like a Crash Bandicoot game in the straights always building boost and knowing what places to use boost will always get you top 4 90% of the time

No joke, on my screen i was in front of you when i crossed the finish line. I even clipped it because how absurd the delay was. Great race though dude. Well played.
I’m bouncing around 140 in the world.. idk if it’s worth it to try more.. there’s already sweats.. like me.. and it’s a super grind on top of so many maps being wonky it’s even harder.. get gud to me is leaning towards not worth it
Plat 2 rn imo collision needs to be removed. About half my games start with me not being able to even leave spawn because the person in front of me disconnected or is afk and they block you… like? Did they not even play test this game?
I feel as though that's the case for Battle Royale too. Someone at Epic had to go out of their way and say, "What IF we decrease movement in Chapter 5 for no apparent reason." I'm baffled that they play-tested the new movement speed and thought "it was fine".

I love this series. Your the only one thats fun to see playing. Also just so you know it would be good to practice the maps your playing in the video if you always get those. Ofc you dont need too and can learn them by just playing ranked. But it does help later on so you can perfect the maps since the people i play with are 90% in groups all game and probably dont practice the maps alot like i do. Im in diamond 1 btw so its not noobs i play with.
That's probably why there's already a lot of people who are in Champion and a guy who's in Unreal already. I think having a bigger group gives you a higher chance to find match.

I meant it like most people which is like 90% of games i play are in packs all game and cant get out of it. Like you see in pretty much all the games he played in the video. Thats why i like to practice the maps so i can get a lead.
in all seriousness this is just basic, average gameplay...i'm not saying that you're bad, but rather that the skill gap just isn't big enough yet.....So Ranks mean basically nothing as they only show how much someone plays and not how good someone actually is (atleast for now)...nice video tho

That upside down turn you said you cant usually hit well… I think that’s the easiest one in the whole game to hit perfectly every time (besides k2)

I hit elite a few days ago but haven't been able to progress very much since, it usually takes around 30-45 minutes to find a match.
they had a patch today that apparently was supposed to fix it. haven't tried it out myself just yet tho!

They changed the queue system but now there are other annoying things, like being able to queue beginner maps in D3
