NC27 is my color in the MAC Studio Fix foundation. I do love that foundation. This foundation looks like really light coverage. Thank you for the review.

The MAC counter has a screen to take a photo in my local Boots of your face and gives you your colour match. Although I was helped by the MAC advisor and she advised NW13. Im 69 with greying hair and quite pale skin and it was beautuful plus a perfect colour. I use a sponge to apply and I can build up the coverage. People have complimented me on my skin since using it.

HI Nisha - Great video. Picking colours can be tricky for sure. Although you weren't happy with the colour, I do think that it looked very nice on you. I guess you can wear any colour!
Hi Nisha actually you made that foundation look really nice. I know it was the wrong colour, but the radiance of it was lovely. Maybe with the right colour you may be more happy. I've never tried Mac. Thanks for the review. ❤❤

Totally agree with you on the Mac Shades!! They never work for me either 👎🏼 But I Love their eyeshadows and Studio Fix Powers 👍🏼 Wish they would revamp the whole shading system, then I might go back to using the foundation again. Thanks for the review Nisha 🌸🩷
I completely agree, I find the shades all too yellow regardless of of its warm or cool and still too dark. I have a similar problem with Dior - either too chalky or too yellow, but mixing them seems about right 🤷♀️ but still too heavy coverage. I'm pale red- haired with freckles and most ranges just look too yellow or they go too chalky. Same with bronzer, too orange. It's not easy being pale and rosy!

The state of the wig looks great. I pulled some of my old ones out after not touching them for years and am playing with them. A few I never wore. The prices have sky rocketed. I'm not a seller, but I may to reinvest. My husband always said just donate. Wearing once in a while can be fun and preserves my natural locks as you know.

I purchased this foundation and liked it until I put it around my chin area and it settled in my chin wrinkles. I returned it but it looks really pretty on you, Nisha💕
Looking beautiful as always 😍 I find the whole nameing system on foundation way too complicated - they change so much depending on the brand and it's impossible to find a similarity across brands so I've given up. I try using my eye and skin test them. Also, I think the whole foundation standard is very hard to judge as each brand knows that we the customer doctor the product so much with powder, setting spray, blush, bronzer etc so it's hard to know if it's yr foundation giving you a good finish or the other products. Maybe it's just me but I find it all a bit too hit or miss. What do u guys think? ♡♡♡
Hi Nisha! I've tried several foundations! I wear make-up every day, I've never bought the more expensive ones, but I have bought Tarte and Estée Lauder! But when I found Photo Focus from Wet N Wild, that's the only one I wear now. I love it and what can I say about its price? I hope it will be available for many years to come! I'd be unhappy if they discontinued it. Have a good weekend! xxx
Does concealer pill with it at all? Haven’t tried this but I’m combination and recently rediscovered Studio Water Weight - I don’t really need a primer and it doesn’t accentuate my pores - people have forgotten about this one and I really like it.

Hi nisha hope ur well, I’ve never had mac foundation as I’m soooo confused with the shades🤷♀️my giddy what a difference in swatches🤷♀️I hope u don’t think I’m stupid but I like the foundation on u nisha, u have made it work and I think it looks really lovely on u, but with the right shade/undertone 👌👌👌very interesting video, and u explained it so well,I went out on Saturday and put on the cyo foundation (blast fm the past) thank u for another great video, take care xx😘
I loved this look I think you’re just not used to it but I’m the same colouring as you have a bigger face and find the darker shades narrow it down I and reduce my face size but I think it looks great on you and you can go up and down on the scales with your shades of foundation
They may be confusing, but I think the shade range is great.

With all that’s out there these days, you would think they would get it by now. Agree, you made it work, but we don’t want a foundation we have to add so much to. Either way, you did your best with the product…your gorgeous! You do so well with making your face look naturally luminous, and not too much so. Great review…sad they just don’t have the right amount of color shades 😔

I never know how to choose a foundation online. I feel like I have yellow undertones so does that mean I get the yellow base foundation or go the opposite with the peachy one? So very confusing at times. Then on the computer screen, it will look like it will match and when it comes in, it's so light that I have to darken it with a deeper foundation I have. It is like a science project. But it looked very nice on you and that lipstick is so pretty.
I’m neutral and get matched in warm and cool, but true neutral can look grayish on me - I was matched years ago in Studio Water Weight (love) in NC25 - it’s on the warmer side but blends in really well - I think you’re supposed to match the undertone, not do the opposite because it will look like a weird mask - I learned from watching Bobbi Brown videos who matches like no other, and it should disappear on your skin (hard to find the perfect color) - my absolute PERFECT match was Urban Decay Naked Skin weightless HD (before it was replaced with crappy Stay Naked) shade 3.5 - I hate when a perfect formula and color gets discontinued - people on their website literally beg them to bring it back- it’s lightweight but actually covered very well, perfect for all skin types (in my experience), lasted all day, lightweight, looked like skin - ugh I’m still mad about it.
We are usually close to the same shade and I was told this foundation runs a lot darker n I was matched with nw17
You pulled it off beautifully. I thought it looked really darker outside but when you came inside it looked good. The coloring is why I don’t buy foundation because it looks so different when you apply it as to what it looks like in the bottle. It’s like you say too dark too yellow etc. at least you know your stuff.
I think I’ll try the wet and wild photo focus dewy. I’ve heard good things about it. Thanks for the reminder 💕

I had the exact same problem! I love MAC face and body. It is my ride or die forever. I also like the way the radiance foundation looks on my skin but the only problem is the shades. I went into the store too and still couldn’t find the right shade. NC 35 was so orangey tan so…. I exchanged for C 4.5 which was better but it’s still my summer shade. How is C 4.5 and NC 35 so close? Weird. I tried the W shades too …they were all too dark. IDK what they were thinking! They should have used MAC face and body shades. Those shades are beautiful!
I love Mac "Fix it" setting spray. But I did not care for that foundation. Even with the Lilylolo (Which I love) I am using currently. It didn't look less oily. The foundation looked best in the Sun/Shade.

I stood in Ulta trying every possible shade that would match my skin. I have fair skin and need a cool tone. Every single one was so YELLOW. I don’t understand what MAC was thinking with these shades. Obviously I didn’t purchase this product.

No…if you have to use your mineral powder foundation on top of foundation to make it work just doesn’t make sense to me…and I always worry about these luminous foundations are going to transfer if you happen to hug someone etc…
I just do not understand how they go through the process of choosing the shades and undertones and then decide that this is the end result and that it’s exactly how they want it to be. You showing the differences left me with my mouth open. I just don’t understand how they could say that that shade is neutral when it is so obviously PEACH !
To me Mac foundations are a shit show 🙈 gave up went to Nars and Armani … sorry Mac just can’t get it right .. I’m not the only one .. when u gotta work to apply and mix etc ughh nope not for me!!

I did not like the color on you. You look much prettier with the ligter shades, no peach undertones. You definitely do much better with the true beige. What is going on with MAC colors. They are ridiculous. I used to wear the foundation years ago, but went to Smashbox. MAC was not good coverage at the time. In any case when you lightened it up it looked much better, but who buys a foundation and you need to layer 4 other products just to get it right.
That foundation was awful. Not enough coverage, and the color was wrong. So many other ones you've tried have been much better.
